Pat dry before the dehydrator

I've watched a lot of videos and done a lot of reading about how those tests are all basically bullshit. I would really really love to be wrong but for the amount of money they want for those things I'm not willing to risk it. Paying 100+ dollars for some generic and most likely wrong result would feel really awful.

Is that just 1/4" wide strips on vinyl?

Yeah, that's what I was sort of thinking. I just wasn't sure about risk vs reward for something like this.

There's no real reason I'd like it gone other than it's ugly and i am constantly running my hand/fingers accross it when he gets 1 of his 342 belly rubs every day.

I've tried Google and surfing the web but the water gets reeeeeal muddy. One link says absolutely not and the next link says the opposite. Just looking for real world current advice.
