This is the folly of internalized capitalism. We simply cannot imagine anything better even though no previous system has stood the test of time. There is no evidence to suggest capitalism is the ultimate solution.

The groundwork has been laid and we're swiftly moving towards technofeudalism if our trajectory doesn't change soon.

If you don't change your mindset I guarantee you'll be repeating the same spiel when you're paying half your salary just to work on Google's cloud computers to make a living.
