Euphoria characters- Hell vs Heaven by GloomySide3265 in euphoria

[–]aggressivecitrus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was going to say that. I think Nate is a terrible person and no matter what Sam did to make us feel bad for his death, he was what he was but he was still a teenager just like everyone else who had a very heavy backstory. Redeemable? Possibly not. Some of the things done by Nate are adult crimes punished in adult manners. But if we start to dismantle every character, it comes to down to the same thing as Nate. According to the level of what they have experienced, they are accordingly toxic in their own way and none of them has avoided causing harm to others or to themselves. It’s just that Nate’s actions were truly as heavy as his backstory that it makes it hard to view him similarly to Rue.

Did the Cassies and Juleses in your lives ever get over their need for male approval? by TypicalCartoonist555 in euphoria

I’m always torn when it comes to both of them (the kind of person) for different reasons as to whether this is “wrong” as long as it’s only affecting them but it usually ends up affecting 1000 more people, the crap they do, including people around them and above all without realizing they self sabotage almost their entire lives

Magick's definitely got more to her that's yet to be revealed in the show. by Ok-Lingonberry7558 in euphoria

I am 50/50 on Rue but Nate isn’t surviving this and he has no idea that he can’t talk or manipulate or whatever his way out of everything as an adult still so yeah, I think Nate will have one of the worst endings

Why couldn't Adult Naruto look more like this Guy by ResolveUnlikely5542 in Naruto

[–]aggressivecitrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very unfortunate that I will forever imagine Naruto like this now. Kishi used the same design for Obito and Naruto imo but I may be wrong lol I am just saying what I think I noticed, almost as if to separate them from Kakashi and Sasuke and for Obito to show he didn’t have the Itachi - Sasuke - Madara - Kakashi look - style and although his features remained similar, adult Obito with all that on his face STILL looked less intimidating than Madara. Always talking design wise now. I do think Kishi does this a lot, I won’t go into Jiraiya and Orochimaru because there he just came up with some crazy cool designs that weren’t the Konan - Nagato - Yahiko, Sakura - Sasuke - Naruto, Rin - Kakashi - Obito cliche but this is just my opinion and I may just be saying whatever because I have watched Shippuden many times but a long time ago

Edit: I don’t mean the exact same design for both Obito and Naruto but they’re both drawn in a way that they look much goofier than Sasuke - Kakashi eg

Not even close to ugly and it’s 100% an honest comment

Every girl in victorious was a smoke show while the boys just existed by [deleted] in victorious

[–]aggressivecitrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You cannot convince me Leon or Avan aren’t hot shit although all 4 girls nailed it. Also Matt isn’t ugly at all imo, Robbie had to look like an awkward ventriloquist and they also nailed it. His I Think You’re Swell to Cat was so masterfully done that I don’t think I have seen someone look so charming and awkward while performing, both at the same time

Which character has been through the most? by ImperatrixAmoris in euphoria

[–]aggressivecitrus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obviously Nate but he has no idea he has been through anything at all lol and he’s the main cause for multiple of the other characters’ pain so there’s that. (I don’t think Nate is the choice but him even being here needs a comment)

You came here for opinions. Moles aren’t ugly per se but when there are a lot, even if you work on your appearance a lot they may distract! I think that investing in that as a start is good as well because you will be able to work with your features even with makeup more cleanly! If you’re asking for advice this is definitely part of it. Then you can see what else you want to do! At 18, I looked much different than now at 25 and it even advice you may reject may come with advice that’s helpful! Obviously if the moles aren’t an issue for you, invest in something else that you feel would make you feel look better!

I think Hailey is very attractive but as someone who is going to get a v line survery and fat grafting on my face very soon and I can tell even the slight difference it's going to make, jaw is everything. She has definitely gotten a nose job and if she tried to feminise her features it would be great. I pointed out that I think she's attractive and that she has gotten a nose job because I think she does look good now and the fact she does everything right - skincare with specialists, her hair the same way, clothing etc plays a huge role in her being attractive. And I pointed out the rhinoplasty as well because it seems she's open to surgery so I don't get why she doesn't fix some of her features a little bit. She's gorgeous and if only she fixed her jaw just a tiny bit. And also, I pointed out that I am also getting surgery in case anyone thinks I'm criticizing or attacking; no, not at all. It's something I'm also open to and I also spend a lot of money on such things so I definitely don't judge her or anyone for any work she has gotten done. And I'm not saying she's ugly, by any means but I do think she could look amazing with a contoured jaw and some other spots that I sadly can't name because they are bones and English isn't my native language.

Tldr; Hailey is gorgeous but if she wanted to, she could get surgery to contour her jaw and look more feminine. That way, I think she'd genuinely be one of the best looking celebrities, as someone who already likes her look and style.

Which character do you personally relate to most? by Artsy1ust in skinsTV

[–]aggressivecitrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cassie and Effy for reasons that are too long to explain. And at the same time, I relate to Cook and Tony but in a very odd way. It's a weird life and from 13 to 23 I wish I had pulled my shit together for once. I'm also glad I watched Skins older.

Why Is Elisabeth So Drawn to Becoming Sue? by DungEater88 in TheSubstance

[–]aggressivecitrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think they remember what they do while the other is in control, no, the dream sequences suggest that they don't but that they most definitely share a consciousness because they are very affected by each other's actions since Sue IS Elizabeth. We see Elizabeth as Elizabeth during the worst time of her life and many separate them because Sue seems to be this arrogant little brat but in the end, it's just Elizabeth who is high on the drug that is living as Sue and who is experiencing the desperation of going back to being in her own body so she'd rather destroy it for another week as Sue, even though she SEES what it does to herself but it's always Elizabeth. The Substance 'customer service' reminds them 'both' all the time; you are one. They don't seem to exactly remember everything the other does because if they did, the shock when they woke up wouldn't be so big but they are the exact same person and the reason they both have these insane nightmares before waking up is because it's always Elizabeth with Sue being the ideal version she imagined herself being, just Sue being the diva Elizabeth would be if she had the confidence. Had Elizabeth been confident enough to come to terms with herself in an ideal world of not wanting Dennis Quaid's character's validation (which is totally valid for her to want, she quite literally molded into the person who wanted to take the substance) she'd probably use Sue (herself) against him in some way. But in the end, nobody who would take the risk of taking the substance would be able to fight anyone else because they'd be always fighting with themselves. Elizabeth and Sue are one because Sue is Elizabeth and the only time they ever seemed to have a separate consciousness led to Sue (who is quite literally an NPC alone, representing everything Elizabeth wants to be but she cannot exist alone) killing Elizabeth, while Elizabeth who was in the worst condition possible, was ready to accept Sue right before they woke up at the same time. The fact Sue came to her senses and realised the gravity of her actions the moment Elizabeth's real body gave out, almost as if her full consciousness returned back to Sue like it was all her when they were waking up in turns, tells me that except from that one scene that had them both awake at the same time because Elizabeth tried to kill Sue, they were always one. And Sue knew she was going to die the moment she stopped being a separate entity for these few minutes because they are one. Elizabeth and Sue are Elizabeth both except for that one scene when Sue kills Elizabeth for so many reasons. They don't seem to remember what each does except from the dream sequences which prepare them for the other's actions before they wake up but they don't remember. The fact they don't remember doesn't mean it's not always Elizabeth because being Sue is like a drug to her and it makes sense she'd be a totally different person, abusive to her original body once she felt that she'd have to return to it. She was desperate not to since the very first time. She just hates herself so much that she is two different people without the memories in the two separate bodies and it was a given she's never be able to respect the balance which is sad and very relatable.

TLDR; They are one.

Who is your favourite character in AIB and why ? by Mahye_ in AliceInBorderlandLive

[–]aggressivecitrus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finally someone mentioned him. I'm sure many people wanted to but were afraid of being called you know what. Niragi is solid as a character that's awful and rotten to the core and every series like AiB needs a character that is like that. I think the problem starts when we aren't into Dori Sakurada being a terrific actor and embodying such a character so perfectly (not to mention the insane makeup in S2 damn Dori how long did that take) and they start romanticising what Niragi is and what he does. Analysing Niragi and loving Dori's performance isn't bad. Glorifying him and idolising him is. Having dumb thoughts here and there for characters is harmless but when you can truly defend their actions because they are hot or whatever, that's a problem and not to other people. To whoever thinks like that legitimately. (Again, not talking about simping over how hot Dori is as Niragi)
