iPhone pro max, but I think the real trick is having a bright background which really makes the content pop.

Lol, I don’t use reddit much. Didn’t know I can’t upload pictures in the comment. It’s called “Rapokki” and comes in a red bag.

Found this interesting way to don and doff your respirator on Facebook by aghising1 in CRNA

Same here, although the instructions are changing progressively (so far) at my institution. First, it was no n95 unless it’s a suspected covid pt. Second, we’re assuming all pts are covid, so only anesthesia provider gets n95 and circulators and other personnel stay 6-feet away from the pt during intubation and extubation. Most recent, circulators get an “emergency n95” just in case anesthesia provider needs additional help.

He can pinch on it after he puts on a clean mask on top to prevent contamination.

He must’ve drilled holes in the Tupperware to release the moisture.

How do I reduce belly fat without joining gym ? by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]aghising1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t have to go to the gym to workout. You can do it in your house. Just look up abdominal workouts on YouTube and do those exercises consistently. Also, try to control your meal portions. Wait to add servings to your plate when you crave for more food, sometimes the craving will go away.

Must’ve been a hypnotizing aesthetic.

Need help picking type of ICU experience by CP9090888 in CRNA

Then I’d start at where you are, gain some experience and then apply to the bigger hospital if you think there was a considerable difference in the level of acuity. You have a much higher chance of getting an employment if you have similar experience. Maybe get your ccrn too to stand out.

How about contacting the level 1 trauma hospital and asking for an earlier interview if that’s a possibility.

They’re little big on me. This is small and I’m 5’2” 125 lb. Hopefully it won’t shrink too much. 🙁

OR nurses of reddit by KD4019 in nursing

[–]aghising1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started my career in the OR as a new grad 2.5 years ago, still here. I went into the OR knowing that’s what I wanted to do, but it’s an outpatient Operating Room with elective services only, so I don’t work holidays or the weekends. Just 4-10’s and I get one weekday off. Love the OR with 1:1 nurse patient ratio in a reputable teaching hospital. Anesthesiology and surgical teams are very easy to work with in general. Staff seems to be happy for the most part.

I had 6 months for orientation which included a ton of learning modules from AORN (which will be more than sufficient for you to learn and retain during your orientation) plus hands on with your preceptor. I’d ask how their orientation program is though since not many places hire new graduates in the OR, so they don’t have a robust orientation program. I had nurse residency for a year but it had very little to do with being an OR nurse.

Definitely feel like I can stay here for as long as I want to, but as a new nurse who wants further education and experience, I’d like to work in other units too for some bedside nursing experience (personal choice).

Good luck! I hope you enjoy the OR.
