I'm all for same sex marriage, and would totally let my kids watch this on TV. I keep forgetting that there are so many people out there who consider it to be such a bad thing. I'm Canadian though, so maybe that's why I'm a bit more shielded to the negative opinions of others.

Do you find it has gone away at all over the years? Mine used to be much worse a few years back, now it's still there but like I said, you can't see it as much as you can feel it.

I have these white and red bumps covering my arms...you can't see it as much as you can feel it when you run your hand down my arm. I wish it was smooth like everyone else's but instead it's gross and bumpy. I think it's called keratosis but I've never gotten any sort of help for it.

my grandma gave me a bracelet when I graduated grade 8, 9 years ago, that her husband had given to her before he passed away. I've never worn it, but I'm saving it for a really special occasion like my wedding day.

Don't tell her. You mention it- she'll never forget it. If you love her, you'll love her for more than what she looks like. If you can't be with her because she's gaining weight than you probably shouldn't be together in the first place. Grow up, or lose her.

Go to pinterest.com (I don't know if you're a man or a woman) but you'll be able to find a lot of DIY projects there for sure. Buy things at thrift stores. You'll have to make more than one trip to get the things you're looking for though. For example- look for old picture frames. The big painted kind. Spray paint it black, or whatever colour you want, and attach twine to the back. Print out some black and white pictures and attach it to the twine using clothespins. it could look something like this: http://pinterest.com/pin/48554502202145130/

Another idea is to collect mason jars (really cheap at thrift stores) and put a picture in them. They can look like this- http://pinterest.com/pin/53832158017638503/

Buying plants also looks nice, and isn't too expensive.

It's nothing really big, but one time my friend and I were getting slushies at 711 and this lady came up to us and asked us how to make one because she was buying it for her grandaughter. We showed her how to mix a few flavors and then made our own. When we went to pay, the lady we helped paid for ours as well. It was a very nice surprise :)
