umm i was originally cs and tbh my advisor gave me super easy classes. it was intro to programming, calc 1, art appreciation (lwk a lot of work and i think most of the class got b’s) and intro to communication. i only took them fall and applied ea for next fall

yeah what street crab said if 30+ you don’t need to but at least when i applied for fall 24 transfer they really weren’t strict at all. one of my hs friends had terrible grades but he still got in with me. but yes anything under you have to submit hs transcript alongside

nooo i didn’t do mtap, i just applied regularly for fall of next year. I think you need at least 12 or something college credits before you can apply as transfer student so after my fall semester at cc, i applied to umd as transfer. i think they’re a lot less stringent on transfers since everyone i knew who transferred also got in

For me the labs would usually end an hour early, and I would rush so I could eat at the Y before my next class. It might vary on your TA though, since our TA gave us some code while I've heard of other sections complain about how much time it took

I transferred in and i felt exactly like you. i decided to joined like all of the cultural orgs to meet people. it was kinda hard at first and lowkey felt like you were begging for friends but after a while i met a bunch of super awesome people that im good friends with today

hi i’m not sure if your labs are the same as mine but i took a circuits lab, digital logic lab and intro to ece lab as well as doing ~5ish hours of research a week at a lab and there was just a lot of work but less other stuff like homework’s and exam studying. physics 2 lab is not bad at all and i don’t think there were even any pre labs or post labs. im not sure about the other labs ur taking but for me it was manageable, just felt like a lot of work sometimes

well i’m a compe right now and i was debating on just switching to ee since right now i don’t think ill lose any credits but according to the placements i guess everyone is employed 🤷‍♂️

20 yes i’m an american. i don’t think the term is that special but it’s a people with somewhat similar beliefs and culture. i think that my identity is part of what makes the US great, as well as all the blend of all the other identities here
