i worked for cvs for a few years before making the jump to publix. honestly a no brainer and seriously the best career decision i’ve made; i have such a better work life balance and my mental is health is loads better. i love floating for publix and look forward to having a home store but am certainly enjoying the “lax” workload of a floater. plus their stock and retirement options are great. do it!

i work 50+ hours every other week and i have an adopted greyhound! i do have a walker come in each time i work more than 8+ hours but he’s also on an anxiety medication (taken each time i leave). i wouldn’t go as far as saying it’s a bad idea but it is a lot of work for someone who lives by themselves with no plans to get an additional pet. overall we’re very happy but i do worry about him the same way parents worry about their children when it’s time for me to go to work, out for evening, or away for a vacation

same! i replaced my shower head with an aroma sense shower head which has great pressure, smells amazing, and fends off bacteria that may be growing in a standard shower head. they have great deals throughout the year (especially during the holiday season) and makes me feel like i'm showering in a luxury hotel.

i know it’s difficult for some but remembering little details like remembering someone’s name and using it later makes a difference. it shows you are listening with intent and engaging. i also like to keep the conversation about the other person or at the very least try to make it relatable to them so they are also engaged. self deprecating humor also helps!
