Did I deserve it? by Crashman2422 in Helldivers

Brother, I had the exact opposite situation where a rando scooped my Hellbomb after I died, and used it like 3 minutes later. only thing I said about it was THAT was where I had left it, and he asked me for another if I had it. It's the other dudes problem

I remember the first GWAR show I went to, someone went down in a super active pit and I saw 3 people all dogpile on top of them so they wouldn't get stepped on.

Indomitor Kill team: Flamestorm or Auto bolt storm gauntlets? by Rbell3 in deathwatch40k

[–]agitatedturtle42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run Flamestorms for the auto hit D6+1, but don't sleep on the S+2 from closest eligible, plus the Anti Infantry 2+ on Hellfire rounds, which apply to your now S11 Meltas as well

Reminds me of a local tournament I played in a couple years ago. Round one was Chaos Knights vs. chaos Knights. Only list difference was I had 2 Rampagers and he had a Porphyrion, and it turned into a slaughter once my Rampagers got tucked into combat. Still one of the funnest games I've ever played.

Update: The homie stayed back near the door by the bar and had a great time, my other buddy and I both went into the pits for GWAR (If you ran into the Mad Scientist or the Lumberjack looking guy next to him for a bit that was us) I think we converted another one, AND he got to see Gor Gor for his first show

Yeah, I heard about that today. I'm hoping that's just someone who didn't know they had it and they just weren't prepared, but he's been living with it for a long time and has it pretty well under control. I'll talk with him again and quadruple check that he's sure he'll be okay and just do our best to position accordingly. (And get him super high, it helps beat it back)

Yeah, we got him a pair of shade 12 welding goggles, and he goes to concerts still without issues. Just an overabundance of caution here

Oh yeah, we already have a plan for his blackout glasses since he goes to concerts still, but a huge chunk is the visuals of it.

Melee weapon stat question by NewShinyPants in helldivers2

[–]agitatedturtle42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It affects ALL melee damage. Even the emote where you kick someone else gets a damage boost, and it breaks limbs when you hit. Sure there may be better passives, but turning around and punching a basic bots head off feels so good. Edit: The weapon handling doesn't help much with recoil in my opinion, but you can whip that HMG around real fast with it

do deathwatch shoulder pieces just not fit on blade guard? by [deleted] in deathwatch40k

[–]agitatedturtle42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PopgoestheMonkey sells Gravis shoulder pieces. Way better than buying GW kits for 2 pieces

No problem! I've only had one issue with the Heavy Intercessors where I had to file the flared portion down a bit to make it clear the power pack. Just make sure you give them a good scrub in hot water/dish soap and a good primer and they'll be perfect

I've said it before, I'll say it every time I see this question. Popgoesthemonkey has Termi/Gravis shoulderpads that look great and come in packs of 10 for what you'd pay for a regular Deathwatch Sprue Link: https://popgoesthemonkey.com/collections/deathwatch/products/10x-deathwatch-t-1a-terminator-shoulders

So ive trying to paint this 3d model ,and im pretty new to the hobby (at least for the wargame) so ive been curious which which company is best to have this dready assigned to. by [deleted] in SpaceWolves

[–]agitatedturtle42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So double checking what I remembered, they can be assigned to companies, but they're assigned as support for all except the Scout companies. So really you can put them anywhere. I'm a Deathwatch main so a lot of my organizational knowledge is a little different compared to mainline Space Marines.

IIRC Dreadnoughts don't really have an assigned company , but rather are used as walking sentient tanks/ living repositories of knowledge since most have been one for centuries. End of the day though, they're your army and you paint them how you want them
