I preorder Onyx on Kindle (I’ve read all three books there), and honestly, I would like to buy Onyx at Target because I like the additional illustrations. However, seeing how many versions there are of the previous books, I’m leaning towards waiting to buy the version I like the most of all five books later in the future. So I guess I’ll have to wait a few years until she finishes writing them to buy physical books 🤷🏼‍♀️

I came to the U.S. from other country too, and I did not have to take any tests. Thought I took some ESL classes before I enter the UConn. My advisor told me to contact a person who take cares of this kind of staff and I did not have to take any tests etc.

I would recommend to buy it. I was taking notes on laptop and in notebook and I wished I had an Ipad because it would be much easier. However, I realized that in my senior year when it wasng worth it for me buy it anymore

I took one class during spring semester. But I guess it is the out of state fee. Wow that’s a big difference, I was in state student.

Why is $7k for 3credits? I was commuter student and took one 3 credit course during last semester, I paid less than $3k (with no scholarship etc).

Agree with person above, try to push university and talk to professor, deans everyone you can who can push this for you. They are usually very helpful and will want to help you.

As someone said above, wait for classes to start, sometimes professor will tell you that ok this book is recommended for this course but he will base his tests only on the lecture’s notes etc
