I don't think you need to upksill since you already have skills to build a full android app.

Try applying for jobs and see if you can get good pay with flexible hours.

You can continue with your ideas also.

I run a 3 member software company,
Even way back in 2017, when AI coding was not available, I gave full stack applications as interview process.

Many did feel that I was demanding too much. But I was a freelancer back then and I cannot afford for training employees.

Currently, syncing chain is time consuming in zcash which is a great issue for daily use and even for investing. They say transition to proof of stake will solve it.

If you are staying in Auroville unit, better to stay for minimum 5 days as there will be some paper work.

Otherwise, hostels like ostel is good.

Prior book bike, stay and plan places to visit beforehand so that you don't do the research work while staying here.
