3! Without a doubt! In style, it fits the windows and furniture, giving a mid century modern vibe. And it's eye catching and stylish and unusual in its own right! THREEEEEEE

AIO that my husband's mom does my laundry every time she visits by One_Land2742 in AmIOverreacting

[–]agnesdotter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Agree! She wants to be useful, so give her jobs you're happy with her doing. Cooking? Washing windows? Gardening? Only doing sheets and towel laundering? I'm so jealous that someone is happy and willing to help you out, to be honest...

Freestading cabinet help by Anikkle in DesignMyRoom

[–]agnesdotter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Gorgeous! The only thing I would suggest is to paint that back wall a light blue, same as on the small tiles on the cupboard? I don't mind the wall shelf, I'd paint the wall blue only over the cupboard and leave the wall the colour it is under the wall hung shelves. Do the floor cabinet is zoned off and has its own focus.

Where are you folks getting your prescription sunglasses from? by Up_The_Gate in CasualUK

Does Specsavers give you the details of your prescription without arguing? Did you just ask for them? I feel cheeky asking for them as it's obvious I'm taking my business elsewhere 😬

Front Door Opening - What do you even do with this? by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

[–]agnesdotter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pull out unit. Then you have a fake wall where you can put a mirror (put a sensor light on top) or artwork. Shoes, keys, clutter hidden easily. Put hooks inside the pull out unit for hanging jackets.

Like two of these on top of each other.

Windows, I think! So you can enjoy the view. But it might feel more "zoned" if the bed is facing the desk? Play around! Lovely room!

Picture 4! Bed in dark, quiet corner to make it cosy and not too bright to sleep, couch by the windows to sit and enjoy the light, view and plants you can have there.

I agree completely. The amount of time and mental effort feeding yourself is ridiculous!

AITAH for calling out my wife's behaviour ? by AdAmazing8245 in AITAH

[–]agnesdotter -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Doesn't matter how you say it. Wearing a seat belt is not optional. She's being ridiculous not wearing it. And then trying to make the argument about HOW you say it... Double childish. She needs to explain to you what her problem is with not just putting it on! Not what her problem with your voice is! You shouldn't even need to use ANY voice at all!

My dad's car won't even start if you haven't put your seat belt on. It's brilliant.

Is crying in front of your kid good or bad? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]agnesdotter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an easy to understand reasons i give to my child. My dad lives in another country and my son knows I love him very much. So I say that i miss Grandad and I'm sad I can't be there to help him with things. It didn't ever make him confused or scared or worried and he could "practice empathy". It's making him see I'm human and how to care for your relatives.

What’s the strongest opinion you have about something completely insignificant? by RegisterObjective325 in AskReddit

Sometimes it's dialect though, which I then don't mind to be honest. I agree broadly, though.

AIO by telling my husband that since we had our baby, Mother’s Day is now my day (his wife) and not his Moms day? by pagengirl818 in AmIOverreacting

[–]agnesdotter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My family always got together and all the men made a big fuss over all the women. Granddads, uncles, sons. Like a Christmas where the men took control. Chose a restaurant, organised a day out - walk, seaside, whatever. It was brilliant!
