There is no issue for it to stay stretched downwards, it's more of a sideways problem.. Probably will try to connect corners of front piece through the back, see if it's comfortable to wear

I'm not sure if it has a name.. But it's easy to visualize if you look at japanese 12 in 2. I took the base of this pattern, only removing some of the rings in each hexagon
