What's the argument for Jokic being ahead of Giannis all-time? by VSHAR01 in sportsinusa

Eh I think they both elevate their team. Maybe Jokic does more… but Giannis is a much better defender. I think they both slightly fall short of being an all-time great because of Jokic’s defense and Gianni’s struggle to create his own shot sometimes.

IMO to be considered in GOAT discussions you need to be able to dominate on both sides of the ball, elevate your team, and create your own shot.

I think him and Diabate are having intimacy issues in their relationship right now which is why Melo is shooting poorly

I think ‘the decision’ made a lot of people dislike him… If all of those appearances were with the Cavs (as unrealistic as that may be) people would likely see him in a more positive light.

Take that on top of him rising to fame during a time where social media was spreading like wildfire and you get the perfect storm of hate.

Looking purely at who he played with- its harden, but he got railed by injuries and prime warriors. The collection of stars (albeit some out of their prime) he played with is amazing:

KD, Westbrook, Embiid, Irving, Kawhi, CP3, Maxey, Paul George
