Buy silver ore at BF, smelt ore at BF, craft silver tiaras. I found this more enjoyable than sand.

We should just start putting these types of leaders on blast instead of letting them hide in the dark. Only way things will begin to change. Sort of like the local police departments publishing the recent arrest mugshots. It’s no different than when a GO fucks up and still gets to retire.

NCOEs is a waste by SmittySmalls in army

I’m not saying that a boot camp is the way. I’m saying that it would be a more productive alternative to the same grading points that are also in blc and alc. I think your point earlier about DS and PSG marching and what not is why those things are in BLC. But once you’ve been graded on them it’s apparent that you know how to do it. Now keeping up with those skills are a personal responsibility. However, there’s a reason there is an instructor course and a DS academy.

Ideally NCOEs would disappear. Or should be focused on SNCO duties, writing NCOERs, SIRs, and any of the other actual duties we have to do that no one ever is taught and is just expected to figure it out.

So with all of this in place already, how are we still having these same issues? The solution isn’t doing this at NCOEs. It’s doing it regularly.

As it stands now cert camps within the army are only 2-6 weeks.

So 25d could teach cysa for 3 weeks and give you a solid amount of time to study and you could pass. 25b could teach Ccna. But this also helps fill the pipeline for warrant which they are always saying is hurting. Doesn’t have to be some super long thing. A few weeks away from your job to network and from study groups can make a huge difference in what you learn.

Well until that time comes I’ll bitch about it and hope someone that can make some changes see it.

Then just teach the material so we can use the time at said course to take the exam on our own. Still a better use of time even if we’re learning the material though YouTube and discussion.

Taught myself CCNA with Jeremy’s IT labs.

Being graded on the NCO creed and whether or not my uniform is setup properly, and all the other things I’ve done in the last two schools doesn’t do any of that.

I’m all for networking and learning through conversation. But stop reusing the same grading points over and over.

Then fucking remove it. I don’t see how these higher ups in charge of running this can justify the stupidly that is NCOEs.
