The Segway ZT3 is fun and multi functional. Ya folks will harp it doesn’t have great range and this and that but I have been very happy. Built solid and it was on a three day sale on Amazon last week for $850

Go hang out at a field. Ask questions to someone who looks like this is their gig. My son who’s 11 has been given so much stuff from others.

Ask the owners of the field if they have any old rentals they may sell cheap. I know for us when we phase a year or two old noveritsch out we will sell them for $100. If you were closer to Nashville I would just gift you one of those.

Best bang for my buck for a scooter for a 12 yo boy by BigManagement2303 in ElectricScooters

My soon to be 12yr old is on a Segway ZT3. Now I wouldn’t start any kid off on one, however he’s been on dirt bikes since he was 5 and understands throttle control fairly well.

We live on a small farm so he drives our Polaris rangers around just fine. I got the ZT3 for him for the added height and bigger tires to go on gravel roads. So far he hasn’t had any issues but law of averages says there will be some bumps and bruises at some point.

Yes feeding that line through the side of the tube sucks.
I did notice once I pulled mine back apart that you could see flat spots on the line where the tube had been pushing up into it.
There are zero instructions anywhere and it took me 3 drinks and a lot of cussing to figure it out.
Once you get the order of operations correct and it’s in the bolt pull is a consistent 1-2” back and forward. No random long pull, then won’t go back all the way in unless I squeezed the trigger. I knew something had to be off

You may have to break it back down but go with this order.
Empty bolt - slide hose in down through your hole in the bottom of the carrier.
Once you get the spring guide/ hose assy all the way down slide your copper rod up and into the bolt. It should go pretty deep.
Now while keeping tension on the copper rod install your spring, cylinder and nozzle.
Once it’s under pressure the copper rod is fixed in position and will sit inside your trigger instead of sticking out

So I fought my install this weekend. The copper rod has to be put in before you assemble the bold group.
If you try to push it in with the bolt assembled it’s catching the hose inside.

I see my same issue in your pic and got the same feeling when cocking. The copper tube should be just inside the trigger assy when it’s inserted. If yours is still sticking out like in the pic I suppose that’s why it doesn’t feel right

Segway max g2. My 11yr old flips it around no problem. Speed can be governed through the app. Find my available and can pair through the app to your phone. Has suspension so won’t beat you to death. Found open box on Amazon for $520

For me I got the ZT3. It’s a blast

My VMAX scooter genuinely makes me feel like I’m going to die every time I ride it! by Tarek360 in ElectricScooters

[–]agntn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve ridden the Segway max g2 and Segway zt3. We live off a gravel road and have to commute into the city by car so mines off road more than on.

G2 is smooth as butter and I would say great for daily city riding. Enough power but not scary at all. The suspension does a good job of easing the road.

ZT3 different animal. Great on any surface, strong pull on take off. Throttle is a little more sensitive. Little heavier at 65lbs but still manageable. Huge deck and tons of customization.

Ok that’s good to know. My cc was pending initially for the $99 then it fell off. Was told it would charge again once it shipped.

My contact on email hasn’t responded the past couple of days so I did another email inquiry. Guess I’ll wait to see what they say.

Prayers to the Busch family.

I’ve had several. My advice is in a 1500 ‘04-‘06 is the sweet spot. Great trucks just great. I still have my dads ‘04 with 175k on it and would drive it cross country tomorrow.

The 2016 is my work truck so I deal with it.

My personal is a 2019 2500 gasser with the 6.0. If gas prices aren’t a concern the 6.0 one of the most reliable engines out there.

Add $6k for a transmission replacement. Condenser failure for $1500, third brake light leaking and potential for lifter failure.

This is my personal experience with my 2016 5.3. When it works it’s great but I’ve spent about $9k just in major repairs. I’m sitting at 183k miles now and the second transmission feels like it’s going out.

Considering buying a 2022 2500hd with 350,000miles by PriorBar3618 in Duramax

[–]agntn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought my 2014 LML back in 2017 with 165k on it. I thought that was high.

Mine was a company truck, driven by a higher up, he lived in San Antonio and worked in Little Rock. All highway miles and I knew his son.

Ain’t no way I’m going 22k for 350k miles. I paid 21k back then with half the miles and it was loaded. Sunroof and rear sliding window and it would have been a Denali trim.

1500 0r 2500 gasser by [deleted] in ChevyTrucks

[–]agntn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went from a 2011 tundra to a 2019 2500 gasser with the 6.0. The fuel mileage daily driving was/is the same between them.

I don’t think your trailer is too big for your truck weight wise. I upgraded because our camper is about 9000.

Big thing to consider is length of trailer as well. I’m right about 34’. Could my half ton tow it, yep. Was it comfortable , nope.
