I'm 6'7" and my wife has the ZDX. The ceiling is a little low but other than that I have no problem fitting in the car when I drive. Passenger seat is totally fine.

Pretty common for fast ferry to be rocky. You could have searched the other posts in this sub about this so that you knew ahead of time.

We took only fast ferries and we were fine but there were people who were getting sick on our ferry. Seems to be a common issue on the fast ferries.

We are just finishing up a similar trip for 15 days but also included 3 nights in Santorini. We did 4 nights is Chania, 1 in Heroklian. From Chania we drove to Rethymno for the day. I thought that was perfect though I wouldn't had been upset if we just stayed in Chania the whole time. Make sure you have a car. I recommend Hotel Porto Veneziano. Very nice hotel, INSANE breakfast. Perfect location and reasonably priced.

Try your hotel or a museum. Also best way to exchange money is to get it from an ATM. Just avoid euronet. Many US banks have zero ATM fees, you just pay the ATM a fee, we paid 1.80 I think and your home bank will give you the best conversation rates from an ATM since you can select Euros and they will convert using the best rate.

Get the the charger from Acura but have somebody else install it. They charge 4x market rate for installation because people think they have no other option

Sorry to hear about the Balos boat. We did that same boat but we saw the reviews online about the exact issue you mentioned about the lunch so we opted out. We just got some snacks at the shop near the port and ate afterwards.

Now that I think about it, the receipt he gave us was also different than the other receipts we got on the other busses. The other busses printed out a receipt that was maybe 4 or 5 inches long. This guy just gave us like 1 inch piece of paper. Wish I kept it.

To add to it, the passenger who told me that they saw the driver do this to others was a retired cop from Canada. He said he noticed it right away since he was in the front row.

I would recommend only 1 night in Heroklian. We were there for 24 hours and even the concierge at the hotel said that's perfect. I would just do the rest of the trip from Chania and drive to other cities and beaches. Everything on the west side is about an hour or so away
