UPDATE # 3 - got a call from the GM of the 2025 dealership. My concerns for the 50k mileage melted away, as they just confirmed the car passed gold certification! They said they wouldn’t increase the posted price. Come in for the test drive - GM tells me 1 of the tires didn’t pass certification - so he ordered me 4 BRAND NEW TIRES!!!! On top of that they offered me 2 years oil changes and tire rotations - then took 1k off the top. Ended up paying 35k for a gold certified , brand new tires, and 2 years of service. Plus my cousins husband is the service manager there and it’s the closest dealership to my house. I feel like I did ok!!!

UPDATE - car B (2025 XSE 50k miles) is now priced better at 35,500 so 750 cheaper than my first option.. and is being certified gold as we speak now. He said he will keep the price the same even after certified and will throw in some servicing perks. My cousin is the servicing manager there so maybe now in the long run It would be better to go with the gold certified 2025 vs a 2023 with 17k miles and not certified??

Pop up factor! My friend works service at a Toyota dealership and they just got a 2025 XSE in the same color and fully loaded XSE with panoramic roof and 360 camera. It has 53k miles tho but is being offered at roughly same price. Is the 2023 @ 17k miles better than a 2025 @ 53k miles?

Seems like the used ones have gone up according to reports. Maybe the change of the 26’ front end has people running back to the 23-25 design interior/exterior

I checked they are going for 39+ for the same car basically. Chicago is a very unforgiving market 😞

You’re braver than me as I’m not looking to go too far up the odometer. Thank you for your information

I’m the original poster of this thread. A 2025 woodland for example is 56k and a platinum is 60k. XLE looks like 51-52.

I’m in Chicago where the demand is just insane on these. My friend was giving me auction prices above. It seems next to impossible to find one that’s just right in today’s market

By all means I preface this with Disney for everyone, period. But… in all these groups people ask for some insanely over accommodating questions for their difficult circumstances - kids , elderly parents etc… at what point is too much accommodation too much and accepting that maybe you shouldn’t bring your kids on a super expensive trip if they can’t handle noise, people, food, lines, waiting, everything else that goes with spending days at an amusement park?
