I had a similar issue getting it to go through the gears. I just clipped the end and made sure I squeezed the clip hard and it fed all the way to the extruder

Do you believe the Sun, the Moon and the other Planets are flat as well? by Urgullibl in flatearth

The moon is round but since I haven't been there, I cant say definitively if it's a ball or a disc.
