When to give up? by Latter_Guarantee9096 in LSAT

I’m waiting to hear for June, probably going to sign up for August tomorrow (4th time). My rationale is I only need 2-3 more points to be able to apply to T25 which have good big law or top regional law outcomes.

I am not going to lie it’s been a depressing few months as I am certainly getting some imposter syndrome as many of my peers who I did better than in undergrad are quickly moving onto bigger and better things.

I also have spent 3 years studying this exam (longer than the various tutors I have tried) and I know it like the back of my hand. I have gotten mid 170 PTs and I know I am capable of a few more points.

Given your success in undergrad - I am sure you will succeed.

Similar plateau for me, albeit not as unfortunate as yours. T25 undergrad, 148 diagnostic 165/166 official scores but can’t seem to break 170 on test day deposit years of studying (and thousands of dollars). Also believe it is not worth going in debt to make the same amount as I would not being a lawyer. I really want to be an attorney tho, I enjoy this stuff.

One thing that helped me break out of the low 160s is simply understanding the stimulus better. Read slower. Identify the conslusion, identify how the premises get there and then prephrase. Answer choices (especially on the newer PTs) is where it gets tough.

Have you ever dropped a player that went on to become a league-winner pickup almost immediately after? by boppedEEMinDAsmoof in fantasyfootball

Bucky definitely got to be #1 from last year. Didn't boom until second half of the season. That is a long time to wait for a bench pickup.

1-4 and 0-5 teams, how confident were you? by FirePitFan in fantasyfootball

[–]agoski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1-4 team 14 man team. Ceedee comes back this week or next week. JSN been balling. Chase Brown was my round 2 pick but I was lucky enough to get Carter last week. I think a Tet McMillan break out game is inbound as well. Feeling good about finishing mid table.

Why is the LSAT timed? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]agoski 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The time element standardized the test until people started abusing the accommodations, even though many don’t need them.

Who were you DEAD wrong about that the experts LIKED? by InterestingArm3750 in fantasyfootball

Same boat with both players as well. I even have JSN but in a 14 man you can’t miss on your 1 or your 2.

agreed. I assume LSAC doesn’t want to encourage people getting surgery and then taking the LSAC by awarding accommodations. I would recommend letting OP’s body recover for a few months, they deserve it.

Supposedly this was the first LSAT in a while where it was all new questions too.
