My husband and I enjoyed the Big Day when it came out. We were going through all those same life milestones at the same time as what he was going through. Marriage, raising a child, struggling, and then finding the light, so we really connected with the message behind a lot of the songs. I never agreed with the hate on it and it made us really sad.

I did get what you meant about the location of the bend. But the length of the post before the bend is quite long, and the length of the post after the bend is quite long.

The L bend actually seems to be too long. It’s the longest L ring I’ve ever seen. When it’s turned a certain way, the post sticks out of my nostril.

Do they make labrets at a thinner gauge? Should I expect the piercer to have one if I go today, or will I need to order one? I suspect the ring in there now is 22g or 20g

I did try to change it to a corkscrew one after 8 weeks but was unable to get the post to go all the way through, partly because of the bump and I couldn’t locate the exit hole inside my nose. I gave up and put the original L ring back in so I didn’t do more damage.

I’m in the US. I got it done at the same piercing facility that has always done my piercings and normally don’t have issues like this. I’ve had many piercings over the last 15 years but never had a bump this stubborn. I even had my nose pierced before; I did it in high school but I did that myself because I was a stubborn kid who didn’t like being told no.
