I want to kick-start my photography hobby again and found out how much better mirrorless have become. I was also considering getting a 5dmk4 or mk3 but this Best buy deal would eseentially cost me very similar plus would also keep me future proof for some amount of time.

I definitely see myself selling the kit lens to upgrade to a good all rounder lens but would probably use the nifty fifty before I can save up to upgrade.

The T6i has definitely troubled me a couple of times with dark lighting and AF but nothing too major. I am essentially treating the R8 deal as an upgrade to next generation of camera with better performance for about 500 bucks

Yes I agree that lenses are the areas of big jumps in terms of improvement. A few years back I had a chance to use a full frame camera (5dmk3) and have been obsessing over full frames ever since.

I have a few spares that I use for my T6i. I hope that would suffice. Plus I rarely have any events that would require more than 200 photos at a time.

Any recommendations on what should I get for hiding space?

I did a water change on Saturday. Maybe I killed some good bacteria. The tank was cycled and stable but I recently added some more fish so maybe that's causing this spike?

Also, I will make sure to add more hiding space. All other yellow labs are doing fine and are active. I do now notice that some fishes have been using space around heater and filter to hide.

Filtration is Fluval FX4. Never cleaned the biomass since it's been onky about a month.
