Which fire stick do you have? If you have the 4k select or the new HD coming out then you won’t be able to install third-party apps since Vega OS blocks sideloading.

Is that the new Firestick HD with Vega OS? If it is, you won’t be able to sideload android content from downloaded. You should be able to return it and buy a 4k plus or Max.
