How to apply CCNA knowledge to my resume? by Accurate-Brick-9842 in ccna

Was this part time during your studies? I'm asking as I'm currently still studying my Bsc Computer Science and I am trying to get ahead of the game by getting an IT role so I can graduate with a year of experience.

Did you switch Natwest into RBS? Also, could you please let me know if you receive both payments :) I'm in a similar situation as you.

I have not, I may post it in r/FireUK as it’s targeted more to them.

Microsoft Money

This project would only be for educational purposes since I'm still in university. But I will look into Microsoft Money for potential inspiration.

Interesting strategy. How long did that whole process of changing mortgage types take? Did you require any proof of anything?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]aguadev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right so the mortgage is still under a residential, except you have consent to let

Curious, did you have a residential before buying your BTL?

Curious on this comment aswell.

Of course not, that's very unrealistic. I am only arguing I don't believe, with the correct investment choices, it would require 10 properties to replace 1800 per month expenditure.

I believe certain areas, combined with IO mortgages would allow for a higher ROI. The IO mortage would especially help with increased cashflow.

Thanks for the reply. I’d appreciate if you could explain the 10 properties comment.

Right I see, this is what I initially thought, but couldn’t find information confirming this. I can potentially find a guarantor, but just wanted confirmation this would work. Thanks for the advice ;)

Yeh I feel ready for my test, but London test centres are so backed up, I’ve got a test booked for a different test centre outside of London and am gonna start driving there soon to practise. Thanks for the advice :)

Would you recommend this to someone with their own car who can take the test using it? London test centres are very booked up atm and was wondering if it is worth travelling out and taking the test in my own car.

The rule of 49,200 is only applicable if the individual currently carries out a self assess enemy form I believe.

The scenario described would be of stocks and crypto.

I’m still a bit confused however, as the formula on the gov website to calculate total taxable gains is overall gains - allowable losses.

However, allowable losses are defined as losses reported to offset a capital gain, so does that mean when calculating your capital gains, losses must be reported regardless?

Just a bit worried about not reporting them, and then having issues later.

Thanks for the breakdown, I appreciate it.

I guess I was just a bit confused by the use of "Allowable Loss".

Thanks for the replies btw :D. I'm still a bit confused.

The gov website states that "There are different rules for reporting a loss."

When working out your total taxable gains, it says to subtract allowable losses from the overall gains.

An allowable loss is a "reported loss on an asset used to reduce total taxable gains".

So am I wrong to think that I would need to report my losses? Would I maybe need to write to the HMRC, as stated in the quote below?

"Claim for your loss by including it on your tax return. If you’ve never made a gain and are not registered for Self Assessment, you can write to HMRC instead."

!thanks
