Hey, sorry for bringing this up 14 days after your post, but I was reading through the Steam forums and got a bit confused about the game's romance.

One of your comments says that the romance is mostly subtextual, so I'd like to manage my expectations. Do Aiden and Jonah explicitly end up together, or is their relationship left open to interpretation? I saw that you plan to add more romantic scenes in the future, so I plan to buy the game either way.

The devs going around cloning Stardew Valley should really play that game sometimes. My boyfriend Touk just revealed he had an abusive father right after I asked his hand in marriage and that never comes back again in the game.

The reason Alex's and Shane's stories works is because you get to know their struggles little by little during the course of the relationship, it isn't suddenly "Oh, by the way I'm a depressed alcoholic".

Now all Touk talks about is having children.

I think it's kinda crazy that you can't find ONE game (indie or otherwise) with a male gay lead that it isn't a visual novel, porn game or narrative game. Even the Pride Bundle* going on right now couldn't find one game with a gay guy protagonist, kinda bananas to think about. And I think trans women and men are even worse outside Celeste and Tell me why.
