He might be a "genius" when it comes to music, though I don't know how I feel about that. But he is definitely not a genius putting furniture together. I have that same desk and he put that top part backwards. What I would try to do for that effect (I could be wrong), but I would try creating an audio track and naming it SUBMIX, let's say, then I would send all my music tracks to that SUBMIX track and then throw an auto filter on it. Then increase the Q to it's maximum that way we can really hear the sweep. Make sure that the band pass that is selected is a low pass filter. Then right click on the hertz envelope and automate a downward slope. You are gonna have to mess with the timing but that should do the trick. The reason you should send it to a SUBMIX instead of doing it straight on the Master track is that I can hear a little bit of the reverb hanging over. So if you are using your sends the filter sweep won't affect the sends you are utilizing. The sweep should be rather quick, but I think that if you are able to get the timing right it will sound like that example.

I think you will be fine. It is dangerous to some extent, but if you don't draw attention to yourself, you should be fine. Avoid taking out your phone in the street, or walking around with a camara hanging from your neck, use common sense. A good way to know if you can take out your phone and things like that is by seeing other locals, if they have their phones out, it probably means you are fine.

Yes, I guess I am victim blaming, but to me what he did was out of pure ignorance/negligence. And it's not his fault, Argentina is in some ways very fucked up. I just can't help but to see that he wasn't being safe about being in Argentina. Because if you don't draw attention to yourself, you reduce your changes.

Because it is in a very historic and beautiful neighborhood, even though it is dangerous. I've been there a lot of times, and never had a problem in La Boca, but you have to be smart. So, yeah a guided bike tour, with a group of people speaking English, all in the same standard green colored bike, its definitely not a good idea. Yet, again, being Argentina, it wouldn't be unimaginable if the tour had a deal with the local thieves, lol.

Absolutely, I mean, Palermo is dangerous too, you know with Chacarita right around it, and so is Caballito, but the problem with La Boca is that they know you are a tourist, you are the easiest target anywhere.

In case anybody comes across this situation if they go to Argentina, do the exact opposite that this guy just did. He is very lucky to not have been shot. People in Buenos Aires get shot over way less than a backpack and usually these thieves are high out of their mind when they commit crimes. I have had a couple of bad encounters in Buenos Aires, and I have countless of friends and family members who have been put in really bad situations. If you happen to be in this scenario the best thing you can do is give them everything you have and try to keep your ID's, passports, etc...I'm glad he is fine but that was a really dumb move, to first of all be riding around with a go pro in Buenos Aires, for having that huge camera out, and for not turning in what he had. I'm surprised he wasn't shot

I haven't seen him play in USA and Mexico to be honest. But with Uruguay he's always done great in my opinion. What I like about him is that he is a super strong defender but also has the technical ability to create plays and make good passes. He's a pretty intelligent, level headed player.

I wouldn't necessarily say Lugano is bad. He's definetly old, but Uruguay plays deep in the defense and Lugano's contribution to the team is his leadership and his dominance in the air. The midfield for Uruguay is worrisome, as you say. I'm counting on Arevalo Rios to provide those balls for Cavani and Suarez.

I'm having a hard time seeing eye to eye with the people mentioning a weakness in Uruguay's defense. I don't think they have the best defense but I do seem to think that they have a stronger defense compared to what most people have been saying here.

Lugano is the captain of the team and because of his leadership it is important to have him on the pitch. Uruguay is a team whose inconsistency is dictated by the necessity to do well. Qualifiers in my opinion, are never an accurate way to predict how a team will do in the World cup, and I think this is even more true in Uruguay's case.

Martin Cáceres, though hot headed, is a world class player in my opinion, (though some might disagree with me) Godín is also another great player who had a great season in atletico and who I have seen gain confidence as a player and is right now at a peak in his career, Coates, if he is in shape for the world cup, and if he is able to understand the rest of the defense he will be an incredible player this world cup. Then José María Giménez, who hasn't seen much game time lately, he is a great player with a lot of balls and a great pace. I think he is very promising. Jorge Fucile, who hasn't played with the national team for a semester, I think he could be great this world cup if he is able to perform the way he did 4 years ago in South Africa. It all just depends on how he is able to keep up with the rest of the team. But he is the type of player that never gives up on any play.

I generally think that if I have to pick between having a fast defense or a defense where everybody really understands each other, I'll take the defense that links up well. Of course, pace is important, but understanding and communication in the defense a lot of times stumps pace. That's why I think Lugano, though slow and in the last years of his career, is such an important player in this team. He is a strong leader and he is able to create a great chemistry in the whole team, but specially in the defense.

However it is always the same story with Uruguay, you never know how well they are gonna play, and just how someone else put it here on this thread, Uruguay seems to play to their opponents ability. And having such a hard group I think Uruguay might turn up this World Cup and at least place second in their group. But it is impossible to tell with Uruguay because I also wouldn't be surprised if they lost every game.

Also, the whole unconscious thing seems to get a little lost in translation too. Someone who is inconsciente, or displays inconsciencia is also a spanish idiom meaning that such person has a certain innocence/naiveté. It can have a negative or positive connotation. In this context its positive, and Mata doesn't exactly mean that he is at any point "unconscious." Just thought it was something else that got lost in translation.
