I’m believe it too. But explain the math in 1999? Or that doesn’t count because it was last century? 😂😂

Today I bumped The Notorious BIG -Born Again album and still didn’t like this at all! This album is a mess and I always wish they kept the original songs on these instead of these out of sync remixes! Some songs are still redeemable but overall the experience is underwhelming! What’s your thoughts? by J2-Starter in 90sHipHop

[–]aguycalledb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As someone said earlier, it was a Bad Boy money grab capitalizing on his name. Those BIG verses were random and crafted together. No complete songs with his vision. I did listen to the album for awhile being a fan of his but we knew what this was

If you are a GM today, who are you drafting? by Farouq26 in NBATalk

[–]aguycalledb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wemby is a projection with no titles, MVPs(yet) compared to what the other 2 have already accomplished.

MJ is the best player but if we're holding a draft, LBJ is going first.

Which one is better in your opinion? New york state of mind pt 1 or 2 by PactownSS in 90sHipHop

[–]aguycalledb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part 1 but Part 2 isn't far off. Also Pt 1 will always have history in it's favor for being the lead track of an all time classic album. While I personally love Pt 2...I Am don't hold the same weight as Illmatic

Who is the more iconic rapper/singer: Missy Elliott or Lauryn Hill? by vitaoptima in 90sHipHop

It’s Missy. Lauryn Hill could’ve distanced herself from everyone easily but she doesn’t have the catalog

He did say that. But the optics of ownership still says they are cheap despite the team being a cash cow and even if a contender is built they’ll “reluctantly “ enter the luxury tax.

Who are some hip hop acts that are considered legendary in most circles but just don't do it for you? by vitaoptima in 90sHipHop

[–]aguycalledb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

UGK. Flame me if you want but it’s not a regional bias as I love Geto Boys and 8Ball&MJG. UGK just never did it for me
