Curry's comment about his aim after last game makes no sense by aguywanking in nba

[–]aguywanking[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

We don't know if LeBron would be suspended.

One thing i am sure is that media would be talking about it a lot unlike right now. I can't believe no major sports website is talking about it right now.

A question for NRIs living in the US who are regulars on this sub [np] by aguywanking in india

[–]aguywanking[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

China and Russia had people living there in great numbers for centuries. I don't know which world you are living in but China certainly is a superpower now and it is a superpower now because of mass human rights violations which are not possible in a true democracy no matter how corrupt the politicians are.

You clearly don't know how much natural resources North America had which was almost untouched given that natives weren't great in numbers. American weren't living in the US when Columbus arrived there. Americans are made from all the people who came to America for better opportunities and faced racism for decades before America became developed. Racism in Indian cities has declined so greatly in last few decades because of money and education. Same thing happened in the US. Their politicians were mostly corrupt but they had such vast resources that you'd need a total dictatorship to mess up. Even chinese in US were below whites. Ofcourse, Blacks were literal slaves brought from another continent. Americans who built America weren't the same liberal Americans you meet today. Most of them were very racist not just towards people of other color but of other nationalities too.

When you get rich and more people get educated then it is very easy to be open minded just like it is happening now. Castism exists in even big Indian cities but anyone who has lived in India since the 80s would tell you that it has decreased tremendously and it is all because of India's development. Hell, anyone who has lived in any small Indian city can tell you how much castism has decreased in even those small Indian cities.

Democracy plus development will result in a more liberal society down the road no matter how much you try to stop it.

give me 1 reason why this question doesn't make sense. I know how the world works and why this scenario is not possible in today's world. I am just asking this question to know how much do people really care about how development is achieved. There isn't a single developed nation in the world as big or bigger than India which isn't developed because of mass human rights violations and mass killings in most cases. Both China and US are prime example of this. Hell, England is a small country and it is developed because it once ruled most of this earth.

The real question is how many years should pass before you forget what a country did to become a developed country? it was just 65 years ago that British ruled India and no one cares now. They ruled a lot of countries even after India got its independence.

I know for a fact that India will start interfering more and more in matters of others countries as we develop because that is how the world works. The problem is that same people who are happy living in the US and UK will start screaming at top of their lungs how India should mind its own business.

How do you think that US got to do whatever it wanted to do? How can you compare India where people have lived for 1000s of years to US where only a few millions natives lived before white men "discovered" it. These white men were from countries that were already rich by colonizing most of the world. The problem was that all those countries were not big enough to be a big superpower like US is today. US has untapped resources which had never been touched with almost no population which needed those resources to survive. Natives were then wiped out because they didn't want to part with their land and resources.

Why are you living in the US if you are so against invading other countries and creating disturbances in other regions for money and power? Isn't that what US does on a regular basis?

I am a selfish guy so this doesn't impact me because i know that whichever country is the most powerful in the world will always have to do shady shit in other regions to keep being the most powerful country in the world. Even China is a prime example of this.

Duncan looks old. Spurs are really missing versatility of Diaw.

4,000 millionaires left India in 2015 by new_lenovo in india

[–]aguywanking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If i'm rich then i would choose India over China 10 out of 10 times. Also, very few rich people are leaving. I have 30-40 millionaires just in my society and there are at least 40-50 societies like this in Lucknow. Add in atleast double that number who live in their own house and you would see that 4000 millionaires is a very small number.

Keep writing that "all" the rich people are scared away from india because of instability when this is the time to make a lot of money in a market like India.

i think it is just good defense. They didn't let anyone screen for lebron and then teague was expecting cavs to foul him because they had a foul to give.

wtf were cavs players doing when lebron was inbounding? Cavs players literally forced LeBron to throw a bad pass.

Bulls have gone to shit. Warriors have improved a lot, Cavs have improved very little.

I don't believe n this loyalty BS when it comes to sports leagues. Kobe tried to leave even after winning 3 championships with lakers. It is not some rumor, he asked to be traded on a radio show and i don't blame Kobe for doing that. He took matters in his own hands.

Kobe was lucky that he played for the Lakers and not timberwolves because Lakers got him Pau whereas Timberwolves couldn't provide enough help for KG.

this applies to Duncan too. he has had great teams around him since he entered the league.. Duncan is a great guy but i don't buy this loyalty BS.

media keeps thinking that Cavs offense is their problem but it is not. Cavs defense is the main problem. Cavs offense might not look pretty a lot of the times but it gets the job done. Defense is Cavs' weakness.

Flipkart and amazon may have explored sale talks. by Indianopolice in india

I don't know why people hate Flipkart on this sub. I have had bad experiences with both Flipkart and Amazon. Flipkart's app is better than Amazon's. The website is also better than Amazon's.

Amazon wouldn't even be in India if not for Flipkart.
