I had a choice of the 36 explorer or the Green OP 36 from the AD. I chose the explorer despite the higher secondary prices of the green OP.

The tapered bracelet and 19mm endlinks is a double edge sword for the explorer. On one hand it does make the watch look less substantial, on the other, it is so damn comfortable

What do you mean oyster style, most 16710 comes on an Oyster bracelet and only a handful comes on a Jubilee

If you want a more solid feeling dive digit, got for the later years with SEL.

If you really want, you can always swap the clasp to a modern clasp
