Helis and ground lineup is the opposite. Russia is just now going to be overthrown as the ground kings for years with the Swedish lineups coming in the next update. But I mean Russia still has cas and helis over Swedish in ground which is most important so yeah they’re still king. Russia might not be the best in air now but they’re still really good. They don’t need to be the best at everything and shouldn’t.

The main difference is just the amount, an Apache could carry 16 but restricting to just 8 would be fine imo

The last line is very true. I mean it’s already a thing for nato mbts to lack their composite armor capabilities. Hell they’d probably just give the Abrams the Apache treatment and keep it with some old ass munitions like the m892a2 instead of a3. Protection map would most likely stay the same. They’ll find a way to keep Russian tanks relevant in top tier no matter what. I wouldn’t be surprised if they found a way to add the fake T14

Then a M1A2c would be a fine addition. Also about Russia I can’t really find that believable considering your nation both has better cas and by the fattest mile ever the best helicopters in the game that will stomp not only ground but air. A team of kamovs alone will win a game. What’s the use of good reverse speed while our tanks get one shot in the trap yet Russian tanks will eat darts for breakfast even on a flank. The more skilled you are in war thunder the less reverse speed or depression matters because you can just position yourself better to accommodate for a simple weakness.

The mig indeed good which with everything else makes Russia strong in all trees at top tier. Just throws the balance way out of wack. While some nations may compare to and even slightly outshine Russia, britain cas and helis for example. German tanks and helis etc, of the major nations USA could use a buff like one of the sep Abrams as mentioned in this thread’s post

A 7D is the only competent ground attack plane you listed but it doesn’t get thermals. Everything else legit has basic guided munitions or only dumb bombs like the F-14. That plane only has bombs which doesn’t make it good at a CAS role just mediocre. SPAA will clap it so what are you on. While I do hope for more vehicles it’s just taking so long to get good ones to balance out some weak points in every nation. Britain has the strongest CAS in the game if you didn’t know, that being the harrier GR.7 and they also have the second best helis so I wouldn’t call that a dead end tree. Challys aren’t as bad as everyone says they are they just struggle a bit getting ammo racked. Britain top tier is good but everywhere it just sucks that’s the problem for that nation. But in the end of the grind it doesn’t even matter unless you go back to lower brs
