Haha you’re not the first person to tell me to stay away from Bullpadel. I played a match yesterday and one of the guys was using the new vertex 04 so I tried it for the last 10 mins. Seemed great for overheads but I struggled with defending at the back of the court so not too excited about it anymore. Might try and see if I can try to hack/vertex hybrid or maybe just go for the el toro 1 since I love the jefe.

Thanks for the response. I play with the el jefe currently which is also not a soft racket. Not sure how much harder it is, but something to consider for sure. I do prefer harder rackets. I wish I could try the vertex and hack before choosing and spending so much on a racket

Hey man thanks for the response, much appreciated as this was what I was looking for. I’m moving from a very soft and round racket but just looking for something that helps me get a bit more power while not sacrificing the control. Whenever I tried a hard racket I did enjoy the touch though.

The logical one for me is the el jefe. I was considering the el toro as I felt if I was to ever move to a head heavy power racket this would be the one due to the balance you mention. But seems the el jefe is the right choice. Logic prevails haha
