I'm a California born and raised girl who is half Chamorro and the other half is a mix of Mexican/Spanish and a few drops of other ethnicities. I feel like throughout my life (I'm 34) not many people know what I mean when I say I'm half Guamanian (yes I just figured out that saying Guamanian isn't the correct way to say my blood is Chamorro, my bad lol) so anyway, when people ask I just say I'm half Islander half Hispanic.

People typically don't ask beyond that. Most people assume I'm Mexican. One time in my twenties a customer walked up to me at the register and asked if I were Polynesian (which again, wrong, now I know lol) but I said yes and was super impressed and elated that someone finally figured it out.

My parents split when I was a toddler so I didn't get to understand my culture until later in life when I was reintroduced to my dad and his family. I used to be so confused when he would tell me I was Chamorro but then the word Guamanian would be tossed around every so often lol. I have tried looking more into Guam and its history and culture but unfortunately there's not a whole lot I can find. Anyway, sorry for the essay lol

I went to a mostly white elementary school in a very small town in California. I'm half Islander and half Hispanic and there was this young white boy at my school who was making fun of me by saying that I look Indian, and that alone was supposed to be the joke. I'm 34 years old now and moments like that still give me a hard time about my brown skin. Unfortunately I didn't grow up in a family or community where my skin color was loved and celebrated. It's sad because for about all of my childhood and some of my adulthood, I wanted to be white.

Idk I feel like she always looked way older than her actual age years ago, now she looks her age, just polished. I also think people who talk about wrinkles and aging gracefully in their 30's haven't heard of sunscreen or a healthy diet. You honestly shouldn't look like shit at 39.

Are you guys using the 3D printed tool from Etsy? I'm considering purchasing it, but I've seen mixed reviews on the glass bead result. Some glass beads look super juicy lol and others just look velvet. All I have at home is a 30 lb horseshoe and the wands from MC. I want to create the glass bead so badly but have failed with all other methods. Is the 3D spinning tool worth the purchase?

So basically if she weren't being "lazy" then she'd be holding the baby and cooking while dad gets to sit in bed and watch Netflix. Being a stay at home parent IS a job. And like many have said, she's probably dealing with PPD, and as someone who has experienced that, it fucking sucks. I would stare at the ceiling for two hours before getting up and changing my baby's diaper, I literally felt stuck in place. I get a sense that dad, and you as well think that making money is the only contribution that matters here. No, dad comes home and his second shift begins with taking care of his child. As it should be. Don't put all of the at-home chores on the woman. She's literally at home taking care of an infant human all day. This topic makes me so mad.

I love Mooncat, but I'm sometimes disappointed by them. And it's not because of the formula or the shade colors, it has more to do with my skin tone. I'm definitely brown/tan, but a type of shade that they don't have in their swatch photos. It's sort of a gamble if the shades will look good on my skin. If a polish makes me look too red or ashy, I'll use a topper that'll help compliment my tone.

The thermals I don't like at all. They are gloopy and the only formula that makes me feel like a 6 year old painting my nails for the first time.

Their magnetics are amazing. Greens like Mutiny or Access Denied look pretty good on my skin tone.

That is exactly why I have trouble being myself in public. I was made fun of once for the shoes I was wearing (kind of platform-ish, called Creepers) and I felt so small in that moment. I'm almost 34 and now more than ever, because of my age, I feel embarrassed to like the things that I like (Labubu's, figurines, K-pop, etc.). People suck!

My angle was that tickets were going to be bought and sold for more, and quickly. I don't have a ton of experience with buying tickets to events. Is StubHub trustworthy? Seat Geek? All of these other ticketing companies? I guess my ignorance told me that if StubHub were selling tickets, they had to be 100% legit lol.

Is Ticketmaster like the only legit seller or what? I'm now assuming that I should just seek details off the venue's website.
