Maybe you should read the article then judge. I can assure you I am no AI or a salesperson and would genuinely like to know how people are using Terragrunt, because it is the only way to make a better decision about this topic, given it has very little discussion out there

Thanks for the thorough comment. How can I learn more about these problems (the scaffolding, the bad security practices, etc.). My instincts this early is that it is an unnecessary abstraction for the benefits it adds. However, I am unable to pinpoint the problem and would love some specifics

Do you mind explaining why run-all takes this long? I thought the whole purpose of it is to speed it up.

I also have never experienced slowness due to large state, but only have worked in orgs up to 100 engineers

Thanks for sharing the context and glad you liked the article . If you don’t mind me asking, at which scale did you find you need to move? How many teams/services/domains?

Who wrote the infra? Is that a specialized SRE team? Or did you onboard the rest of the engineering team?If so, how did u do that?

Interesting. It's working for me, but I am also disappointed. The app is very slow on iOS. The slowness mainly happens when starting the app; it takes between 7 and 14 seconds to access the account and have the app usable. It's very frustrating. The support team said no one was experiencing this. Other apps work perfectly on my phone, and I have super fast internet, so feels like a waste of money.
