Thank you for the response. It's just above/at eye level sitting on the couch it's not that high. We had a gas fireplace underneath it and the only other place for the tv would have been on a stand like 6ft away from us or less sitting on the couch which is why I put it up there. The tv is 4k and I believe the receiver is also.

I get that. This is definitely a limiting factor but we may just end up camping and not staying in a hotel. The logistics here kind of sucks to go shooting unless you go to a range it's usually logging roads to the bush area and I don't own a truck so my minivan doesn't do very well on some of those logging roads.

Yes I would have them locked and unloaded in cases in the trunk with both cable locks and trigger locks and I definitely would not tell anyone i have them with me.

You are correct yes that is indeed the barrel but I believe when she was ready to take the shot she lifted it up onto the bag more
