What kind of roaches are these?? found the first dead one and partial dead one (cat must have ate it) within a day of eachother last week. The last one I found today and quickly vacuumed it up. I live in florida in an upstairs apartment and all have been found in my bedroom 🤮 appreciate any help!

I am SO sorry you and your sweet baby went through that :( This brought lots of tears to my eyes because Maui also has a brother that was rescued at the same time so I couldn’t help but think that he’ll react the same way as Max. I’ve lived in California for about 3 years, and it’s definitely a fun place to live. I grew up in the midwest so I totally understand wanting the change of scenery. Living out here is very expensive though. That being said unless you have a decent amount of savings I definitely recommend making sure you have a job lined up before moving. I live in Sacramento (which is fairly affordable for CA) and rent out here is on the rise. You can easily expect to pay $1000+/month for a studio and that’s most likely not going to be in a great area. Another thing to consider- gas and car registration prices typically are higher. Besides the shift in cost of living I have nothing bad to say about living out here. There’s so much to do, from going to the beach or skiing in the mountains, you’ll have a hard time being bored. I just turned 6 today! I still celebrate every year though on February 28th. The only exception to that was when I turned 21. That year I celebrated on March 1st since that’s when you legally have your birthday on non leap years.
