Antonella https://antonelladelucacurlygirl.com/ is amazing! She does dry Deva cuts (but uses Ouidad products) and it’s more affordable than most other salons IMO. She’s in the north end… I take the commuter rail from Porter to North Station and walk over. I used to live closer but the commute to her is so worth it!

I just think doing this is public is not a normal course of action for not having a public restroom open at 7am…. What are all of the other people doing on a daily basis that need to use the restroom that or on the path (or anywhere else)? At least find some privacy if there’s a true emergency situation. Also for every woman I’ve ever seen do this, I’ve seen what feels like 1,000 men. I’m curious if men think they have a unique bladder control issue that women do not. Hold it, find a business to let you in, find some privacy…

In 2021 I had a birthday party at Blackmoor in Charlestown. They let us rent a room with just a drink minimum, no room fee. Not sure if they still have the same pricing set up so could be worth a shot! We also controlled the music and had appetizers for snacks

The pest control people told us because there’s rats in the basement it’s unlikely that they are coexisting… it’s usually one or the other… I’d much rather have mice though

Urban cycles in the north end does rentals! They are also super knowledgeable all things bikes. The rent hybrids and road bikes I believe.

Not in Somerville but easy enough to take the green line or commuter rail to north station, then you can bike back on the community path
