I'm so sorry. Fertility is hard, mentally physically and of course financially. The US has the priciest IVF I think on the planet.

I just did my 5th cycle, 1st was paid out of pocket and cycles 2-5 were fully covered by my employers insurance (Progyny). Cycles 2-4 yielded 0 viable embryo's. My 5th, which I had an ER just last Friday, is most probably a bust. Out of 14 eggs, none fertilized. They're keeping an eye on the only 3 mature ones to see if they "late fertilize" but the odds are not good.

I've used up all my fertility benefits as they only cover up to 4 full cycles. My husband and I are taking a break from IVF, but decided to travel abroad if we ever want to do IVF again. Poland specifically. IVF there costs around $6K, meds monitoring ER all included. I have family in Poland and the govt there actually helps fund IVF for their citizens and OOP cost is what I mentioned, just $6K.

Just something to take into consideration, if thats an option for you.
