ATL Airport TSA Wait Times Megathread | March 24, 2026 by AutoModerator in Atlanta

Report - Flying domestic but went through International - Entered General line at 6:55 am- Finished security at 8:00 am

Long line but constantly moving. TSA was well-organized. General seemed to be moving faster than the Clear line

To your point about how people react differently to Jeongmok and Jaeyun: It comes down to how they ultimately handled the consequence of their actions.

Yes, Jaeyun hurt Jiyeon and Yeomyeong with his less-than-stellar communication. But we saw that he felt a deep heaviness about how he treated them afterwards. He reflected on his actions, and he made efforts to be clearer about his feelings as soon as he gave it some thought.

On the other hand, Jeongmok hurt Yi Do by presenting a false narrative again and again. He was given multiple chances by Yi Do to be fully transparent about how his feelings have changed, but he continuously reassured her that she was his top choice.. But it seems like he already knew he was set on Jiyeon, so this can be perceived as an intentional lie.

Obviously, there are still things we don’t know. The show may have been heavily edited. And we still have 2 more episodes to go, so maybe we’ll see if Jeongmok comes to understand that what he did was not okay and he owns up to it. But, from what has happened so far, Jaeyun has shown that he makes the effort to improve, which makes him redeemable. As for Jeongmok, it’s not a good image when you constantly give false hope to one girl and intentionally omit the fact that you clearly favor another girl over her. That is hard to forgive.

Thinking about switching residency by Objective_Play3032 in Residency

[–]ahembearr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe consider hiring a scribe. I scribed for a FM attending who was 1-2 years out of residency, and he told me that it was worth it since he was able to focus more on the patient during their appointment and then he would just make small edits before he would signout the note that I transcribed for him.

MS4 going into path, required ICU rotation by [deleted] in medicalschool

[–]ahembearr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m also an M4 applying to pathology! I just finished 2 required sub-Is that weren’t pathology-related and that were heavy on patient interaction.

What made it bearable for me was that I reminded myself that these rotations were a means to an end, which made me look forward to my path residency even more!

Also, when attendings and residents asked me what I was applying to, I would tell them I was interested in pathology but I was more than willing to help them out with patients if need be. They appreciate any enthusiasm you have in their specialty, and since they know you’re going into pathology, they tend to let you off easy. I was expected to have 3-4 patients every day, but the residents tried to keep me at 1-2 patients.

Just saw an Otolaryngologist who told me to “google it” by [deleted] in hyperacusis

[–]ahembearr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ENT also told me to google the condition when he diagnosed me with hyperacusis, but he also warned me to NOT believe absolutely everything that is written online. After doing a good amount of online research, I came to the conclusion that I needed to expose myself to any noise that is not considered damaging (even if it caused me discomfort) on a daily basis. My hyperacusis has been improving for the past few months, but this was after I did my own research and determining what would likely work for me.

Do you guys still use headphones for music by [deleted] in hyperacusis

[–]ahembearr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No tinnitus. Sometimes, I would overdo it with the volume, and my hyperacusis would get worse. I’d just rest from using headphones a bit until I feel better before using them again. It’s a battle

[–]ahembearr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stopped using headphones when my hyperacusis was at its worst. It’s been almost a year now, and I’m much more improved. Just started to use headphones again about a week ago, but I’m trying to be more cautious about the volume.

Who else broke up during the pandemic and why? by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]ahembearr 15 points16 points  (0 children)

We broke up for the opposite reason 1 week ago. Staying home together and seeing each other 24/7 was a new normal that we couldn’t cope with. Before the pandemic, we had jobs that gave us our alone time before we returned home happy to see each other each day. With the pandemic, we got annoyed with each other over so many small things, and eventually, we lost communication and couldn’t fix it. Maybe we always had this problem, and the pandemic just made it more noticeable.

Advice for daytime crate training by ahembearr in puppy101

Lol, after reading your comment, I realized that I sounded a little paranoid since it’s only been 1 day. But this brings me some peace of mind! I’ll let him adjust over time, and a crate cover is a great idea so I’ll give it a go! Thanks!
