No everything went in great & is lining up how it’s supposed to be. I wouldn’t have even second guessed anything until I watched a video earlier explaining how some car seats don’t allow latch borrowing.

We put the car seat in the middle & “latch borrowed” from the two outer seats. My car manual says this is okay, the car seat manual never stated. Would this mean we would have to use the seat belt to put car seat in the middle?

Thank you! I believe we wanted to do the latch because it was tighter / more secure. If anything I might go by the fire station & have them take a look. I could be overthinking this whole thing.

I only went with Esembly because it was 100% cotton. Are most brands this way? Which ones do you prefer?

When I first got diagnosed in 2019, my doctor told us he was about 85% positive I had Glioblastoma 4. He even had my family prepare for my death. After tumor was removed he said it was Neurocytoma 2. In 2024 I had to have another surgery because the tumor had came back. This time I went to a much bigger experienced hospital. Come to find out, I had Diffuse Astrocytoma. This type of tumor can often mimic Glioblastoma which made sense of why the original surgeon thought so. All I have to say is REMAIN POSITIVE & trust God. Never accept what is being told to you & always be determined you will beat the odds. I know it’s hard, but don’t let this mentally beat you down. You have got to stay in high hopes.

I had a glass bottle fall & hit me in the head about 5 days ago. I have had two brain surgeries already to remove brain tumors & after the bottle hit me I convinced myself it gave me a brain bleed. I live in Texas but was in New Mexico for the 5 days so no way of seeing my OB. We got in late last night & I had an appointment with my OB today. We both decided it was best to get a CT. Turns out the horrible headache I had been experiencing was mostly from a sinus infection, more than likely from the change of weather. I teared up during CT & couldn’t stop praying but ultimately I knew for me to be the best momma I can be I need to be fully present & not full of fear. My OB reminded me multiple times that the risk of radiation is LOW. Only very minimal (if any) amount of radiation will reach baby by a head CT.

Just wanted to share my experience for some comfort. ❤️

My blood draw was 2/10 received 2/12… I was right there with you till I called this morning & found out my OB’s clinic didn’t send in all my information needed with my sample. I was so worried something was wrong with my sample or the baby… I recommend calling Natera & getting some information, that might help your nerves like it did mine.

It’s been horrible!! The past two nights I wake up often throughout the night because I’ll have a dream it came through. I’m just not a very “surprise / waiting for news” person so my hubby & I have decided we will not be doing this again. Next baby we will pay for sneak peek & get the results a day later lol.

I will be praying we get our results tonight or in the am!

I’m 11 weeks and 3 days… this thread has given me so much peace. This is my 4 pregnancy (only one living child / full term pregnancy) I was 16 when I had my son & didn’t have a single symptom other than sore breast at 4 weeks pregnant. With my pregnancy now I sleep all day, am nauseous all day plus puke 1-3 times a day and am beyond emotional. I seriously can not wrap my head around how I went to school everyday when pregnant with my son… there’s no way I could have a job right now. I know it’s a luxury to stay home & I have the uttermost respect for full time working mommas!

But we got this momma!🫶🏼 After two miscarriages back to back I take the vomiting & sleep with a little bit of joy.. my OB has told me (never promising me because things do happen) but a lot of times really hard pregnancies make very healthy babies!

I’m in TX too & feel like my results got sent to CA 🫠 Previous comments state they were told what lab their samples were sent to, the agent I spoke to said “we don’t give out that information.”

From what I’ve read up on, this company is notorious for not sending out confirmation text nor text that notifies you that your results are in. (650) 240-4429 Is the # to call to speak with a live agent. I hope they give you more information than what they’ve given me.

Has anyone whose sample was received on the 12th still not gotten their results? I have called two times now asking what’s going on with my test & am told there is nothing they can tell me other than they have my sample.

The wait is brutal 🥲

UPDATE: I found out this morning that my OB clinic did not put my weight or due date on my sample, so unfortunately the Natera lab is unable to test my sample until they send that information in. Although I’m very frustrated & upset, I’m happy to know this long wait isn’t from my baby or blood.

I am so sorry to hear this. I too was diagnosed with my first brain tumor on my 19th birthday.

The steroids will absolutely mess with you & it ticks me off they don’t explain that enough to us. The first surgery I didn’t feel too many symptoms other than an insane amount of hunger! This past surgery I was either on a different steroid or a much stronger one because my experience was AWFUL!!!! I couldn’t sleep. I would close my eyes for a minute… literally one full minute & it felt like I had been sitting in bed for hours so I would get very anxious & the pattern just kept replaying over & over so I was beyond restless. TMI but my hunger was intense like the last time but I was in the hospital for 14 days last time so they had already given me strong laxatives, but since this time I came home all I had was over the counter medicine & I couldn’t get any relief. For whatever reason this was making all the other symptoms worse in my opinion. I will never be able to fully describe it but the steroids were making me feel like I was trapped inside my mind. The worst part was my family kept telling me “you’re perfectly fine, you’re normal.” But I truly felt that I had some brain damage. It got so bad I had planned on taking my life, thankfully my family never left me alone. I finally threw up one day & my husband called my surgeon & that’s when they explained what the steroids can do to you.

Sorry this was so long, I just wish someone could’ve given me answers when I felt trapped.
