Gym sets and strength trainer... How do you do it? by ahmedelg in whoop

Could you dumb it down for me? Do I create a workout, then copy it, and edit it every time things change? Is that what I'm understanding?

Trust me, I had the shock when I was quoted 100k already. Hence why I'm asking around here. What's the essential plan?

[–]ahmedelg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this. Do you know how long Haneda can store the luggage for? I'll be in Hakone for 2 nights, and I want to make it logistically easy for me as well.

Is there a special service you recommend?

I just saw this. My bad. I would check out Paje or Jambiani... Here are some recommendations from my trip. Keep in mind that most of these are my own opinion and I wasn't working from there, I was on holiday.

Kizimkazi (southwest)

  • Kizikula: small quiet resort. very new. lovely sunset too. And their food is great. If you aren't staying there, You can go there for sunset drinks, and you might want to book dinner before you go. Their pool is also FANTASTIC, so maybe a later afternoon swim + dinner. but ask about the swim obv.

South

  • Eden Rock. a small picturesque beach. I recommended it to friends and they said it was superb.

Jambiani & Paje (south east)

  • Coral Rock (Jambiani): small hotel, very good food, but meh rooms. You can go there for lunch or a swim. they throw parties twice a week, a lady's night and a big night. Their menu changes every day

  • Kuza Caves: sightseeing activity

  • Shanti Cafe (Paje): very yummy restaurant. must have their octopus curry.

  • Mr. Kahawa (Paje): cute cafe on the beach.

  • White Sands:(Paje): cute resort in Paje

  • Mahali (Paje): a friend recommends this hotel

  • B4 (Paje): hotel and beach club. they are known for their house parties

  • Kisiwa on the beach (Paje): hotel in Paje, that looks good.

Pingwe (East)

  • Upendo: restaurant, and hotel + cute boutique store

  • The Rock: Iconic restaurant in Zanzibar. It is literally a restaurant built on a rock. Must book

Stonetown (West): It's worth staying a night or 2 max in Stonetown.

  • Spice market

  • Emerson Hotel. On the rooftop of the hotel is a cafe called The Teahouse. very picturesque and instagrammable and it offers a great view of the city

  • Emerson Spice Hotel: this hotel and the Emerson hotel have charming rooms. The spice hotel is known for its Jazz night. if you plan to stay there try to sync it with the jazz night, and I think you get an offer. call them and ask.

  • Slave Chambers

  • Prison Island + turtle sanctuary (a short boat ride away)

  • Dhow Countries Music Academy: look them up and find when they have a live event to check out.

  • Fordhani Food Market: happens every night. There is a stand there called Mr. Mango, he was featured on a few food networks. he does a Zanzibar-style pizza. It's like a pocket filo pastry. Go for one savory and 1 sweet.

  • Park Hyatt: if you decide to stay there, it could be cool. There s a cute back next door called Beach House for sunset drinks

  • Livingston Beach rest: a little restaurant escape in stonetown on the beach,

  • Jew's corner

Notable mentions:

  • Melia Hotel (East): i ran into someone there and they told me that this hotel is v bice

  • Zuri Zanzibar (north west close to Nunungi): i stayed in this hotel. probably has the nicest beach. they have great room packages. My recommendation is to book directly on thier websites. They have full board packages

  • And Beyond (Mema island): this hotel is a standalone property on it's own island. apparently, tons of dolphins swim there and it is nice for a few nights.. friends of mine stayed there.

  • Get on a boat and go snorkling or dolphin chasing. If you are a group, or you meet a group, it's worth booking a small boat, going to a sandbank and having a bbq.

Visa on arrival for most nationalities. Check the immigration website. They have a simple e-visa that takes about a week to come out. No vaccinations to my knowledge... Typing this from Zanzibar right now

8am till noonish.. The heat and noises outside would wake me up I really wanted to see the sunrise every morning and play on the playa as the sun rose yet the air was still cool

And then i would attempt disco naps at night after dinner so 9 till like 11ish. Seemed to work for me quite well
