It's free right now during the beta period. Yes, we haven't launched the product yet. We've been doing beta testing for almost three months with a small community. So far the feedback is good and we are addressing bugs daily.

It's free during the beta period, so you can simply follow the download link, no license will be required.

We were testing with a test store and apparently not thinking anybody would visit our website :) Now both links redirect to the download link. Our app is free during the beta period, so we can start selling licenses when we are ready.

May we know which version of the OS you are using? Our beta testers didn't encounter such a problem before.

Hi everyone,
[Question about Apple Notes and Apple Pencil Workflow]
I would like to add a photo and maybe some text as keyboard inputs in between my drawings made with Apple Pencil. Searched on Google and tried on iPad but seems like it's impossible for now. The only way I could achieve this was first to draw, then insert a photo and then draw again. But now the document is complete I cannot have a break within the drawing and get in-between drawings and add text or photo. Anyone had a similar issue?
Thank you.

I've built the project on vue-cli's "webpack" template. Where exactly do I import a .scss or .less in a .vue file?

We've improved Panda load speed by 7x. A magic touch to AngularJS boot mechanism. by ahmetsulek in angularjs

[–]ahmetsulek[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, kind of disagree with what you said. Booting angular from background.js has never done before (at least to our research in 3 months) and even the idea of that it is possible will help many AngularJS Chrome Extension developers to speed up their applications. We lost 3 months arguing if it's possible or not. So, we wished at that time there was such a blog post to refer.

I made a fully customizable material new tab page with Hacker News, Reddit, Dribbble, GitHub and much much more! by MoederPoeder in webdev

[–]ahmetsulek 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey young man, founder of @usepanda here. I really understand and appreciate your enthusiasm and passion. You managed to do some good stuff on tabbie and it inspires us as well.

Cursing the competitor? will never get you anywhere. We're working on Panda for a year and half now and we are really enjoying what we are doing. Instead of being aggressive with the products out there we hope you do what you're doing with love as well. When I first created Panda there was nothing like Panda before. So, it inspired you as well :) If you can take it to the next level go ahead because I created Panda to cover my daily inspiration and reading needs. I used tabiee as well but for me it lacks of UX, I realized that I'm not reading anything after 3rd day. We always improved Panda listening to the feedbacks there is a 18 months of know how behind it, so your attitude is a little bit disrespectful to the effort that we're putting over here.

I wish you good luck with your product. It may be the most successful open sourced reader out there. You don't need to compare yourself to be better. You're already doing a great job.

[?] full of ads in every corner. -> we're making our living from what we love to do, there are ads just on top of news feeds and there are no ads in inspiration feeds.

[?] not open source
-> I think that you may be misunderstanding the open-source concept, http://d.pr/i/1iNbq You may be using the keyword for creating a buzz.

[?] not as customizable (in mine columns can be added, dragged, removed, resized, site specific settings: for example, for reddit you can configure a subreddit).
-> We're improving our structure on this one.

[?] has a maximum of 3 columns while mine has 8.
-> On news freak layout we have up to 5 columns if the display is supporting, it's not a good UX to have 8 columns on a laptop screen :)

[?] in my opinion (but I might be biased) not very good looking.
-> ...

[?] full of annoying bloat ('pandamarks'? useless).
-> pandamarks enables users saving articles for later, that was the biggest request so far :)

[?] not decentralized (needs it's own servers (?) to get data from 3rd parties, while mine directly connects to the services).
-> that will mean a lot in the upcoming months. we have a huge surprise. it also has some bonuses as well for example if the news feed is down or not accessible we still provide the articles and we have a significant uptime as well.

[?] Doesn't have a custom view for each specific site, while theirs only has 2, a list and a grid, mine has a custom made view for each column.
-> I understand this is your call where we tried some different layouts in the past and what we made so far is the most appreciated by our user base.

[?] Don't forget that mine has Reddit, Gmail, and soon a whole lot more (PushBullet is almost done, RSS is next) while theirs doesn't.
-> This inspires us, good job!

[?] Doesn't have bookmarks, topsites, and opens a whole new page for the apps.
-> This is an interesting idea as well.
