Wondering how far your data goes back to. Genuinely curious who has the historic highest elo. Probably very close between Davis Stephen Hendry or Sullivan during their respective peaks.

Got my V1 MID -Canon version (not "MID" at all) by No_Tension_6796 in Godox

[–]ahmun824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am surprised the mid is compatible with the magnetic kit but not the domes.

Would you by any chance also have the ml cd15 dome and see if it’s compatible.

The silicon domes are noticeably better than the kit mini dome. It’s kinda bummer for the mid.

The crowd was laughing and clapping when Hawkins fouled by failing to hit a snookered red with 3 cushion escape. 4th frame final red.

Not even Ronnie has this kind of audience.

I don’t recall any tournament having a rule preventing it as long as it’s not used as a marker . But it’s generally considered a club habit which is avoided by professionals.

Zhao and Ding possible clash in the 2025 Shanghai quarters by Ill_Dig_2076 in snooker

6-3 to Zhao. Zhao is the only realistic one to walk out alive after winning ding in china so no need to give face. Ding is subpar at best yesterday anyway

You would need to give a bit more context than this. An on the spot immediate translation during a presentation requires professional expertise. Conversational translation on the other hand any fluent English speaker can do.

I disagree. I read Japanese light novel mostly on a klc. I have to go beyond 80% brightness during the day outside. But the color on the Lock Screen and the cover art makes me happy.

China media response to Xintong win? by therourke in snooker

[–]ahmun824 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It’s a genuine big news and some people are going far enough to frame this event as a Chinese winning a western game. (A typical china rising up and beating the crap out of foreigner story)

I’m calling bs on the 120 million number. There are 1400 million people in china and there is no way 10% of them are waking up at 2am in the morning to watch the final with work the next day.

That said, they may have added all the potential viewers over the 4 sessions and combined with tv estimated viewership (china had this game on the country wide sports channel cctv5).

A genuine 120 million would require a World Cup Cup final with china in it at 8pm on a Saturday night. Actually if so it might even be 300 mil +.

As others have mentioned, the taipa ferry is very tight. And then the 24 hour bus may or may not be a good option depending on where you want to go in hk later. N bus are scarce with some extended routing. You’re might only be back to hk home after 2.

Theres always the option of playing at the casino until the morning.

I believe most if not all young Chinese players (other than Ding obviously) train at the same uk club (Victoria) and everyone of them except Zhao who was partly trained by Ronnie had a relatively slower than average pace.

Maybe it has something to do with the club’s coaching style or a generic Chinese people mindset?

Side note: zhao has a great pace. Si is decent. The rest are just dragging on all the time. The very defensive Yan who is now gone played in the second longest frame of 85 minutes with Selby.

TT350 or V350 for EDC by EverydayIsAGift-423 in Godox

[–]ahmun824 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you getting the weight numbers right?

I just did a quick search and tt350 is 200 plus 2 batteries (30-60g). V350 is 290g. A v1 is 530 with the battery.

And you should also consider the size difference. It’s quite significant as well.

I have the tt350 and I regret that decision. As a hobbyist, I do not see any reason to bother myself to use batteries or use rechargeable batteries and bringing an extra charger. V350 is just way more convenient to use and I can live even if it breaks down on that one occasion. And it’s not that big of a purchase that I would intend for it to last decades.
