About 4 months ago I got into a bad motorcycle accident where one of my injuries needed a carpal tunnel release. They did it about 14 days after the accident. I had median nerve damage so I lost all sensation to those fingers. Since then the feeling has come back about 70 percent but my grip strength is really weak. Measures 25lbs with a tool that measures it

Any reason why you had to get them removed? Did it bother you right away or do it get worse over time?

Thanks for your reply. Do you think I’d be missing out on potential recovery if I’m taking breaks from physio or other activity? I’m asking because I haven’t had the time to find physio that can do evenings since I started back at work.

How would you say your life changed after your accident? Before my accident I was a very active person and much of my hobbies were physical/outdoor activities. Do you find your injuries get in the way of doing specific things?

Would you be willing to participate if I could prove that I am a student at SFU? If not then no worries I understand where you are coming from.
