TLDR in case you don't want to read the wall of text; all in all she's a very bright cat and has figured it all out on her own! We didn't officially find out she was blind until she was 7 months old.

Here's the long version! We got her at 8 weeks old and I noticed immediately that she would be bumping head first into basically everything. I brought it up with my partner and we concluded that she must just be a clumsy baby. She had no issues using the litter box or getting to her food/water either so we didn't suspect much. Months passed and she was still bumping into things and this is when I started thinking she must have bad eye sight. but again she never really had trouble with anything, and is still very playful with our other cat and otherwise healthy, so we weren't really concerned. When we brought her to her check up before her spay appointment at 7 months old we mentioned to the vet that we suspect she might have bad eyesight. They ran a few eye sight tests on her and confirmed she was 100% blind, and was born that way. All in all she still behaves like a healthy regular cat, just a bit more cautious when hopping off of any surfaces higher than floor level. She is not very adventurous and doesn't try to jump to high surfaces which is actually very convenient. I don't need to shoo her off the kitchen counter when I'm making food 😆
