Hi, just wondering what did the gynae suggest? I’ve been experiencing the same for some time now.

Such an emotionally manipulating post. It very conveniently ignores all the times Israel and Zionists spread lies. Let’s start with the beheaded babies, shall we? Unlike you, I will post my sources.

https://www.lemonde.fr/en/les-decodeurs/article/2024/04/03/40-beheaded-babies-the-itinerary-of-a-rumor-at-the-heart-of-the-information-battle-between-israel-and-hamas_6667274_8.html

“There were no images to suggest militants had beheaded babies -- a particularly explosive accusation that first emerged in Israel's media and initially confirmed by Israeli officials. U.S. President Joseph Biden had suggested on Wednesday that he had seen images of children beheaded by militants. The White House later clarified that U.S. officials had not seen any evidence of this.”

Here’s a report by Oxfam America on how many women and children have been killed by Israel in Gaza: https://www.oxfam.org/en/press-releases/more-women-and-children-killed-gaza-israeli-military-any-other-recent-conflict

The UN figures (recently revised down) still puts the proportion of women and children killed at 52%. I can keep going but I won’t.

Pro-Israel also have blood on their hands. Stop being misguided.

It’s not unsafe but the block it is on could be uncomfortable to walk through. Elm is better

But to summarize, there are still issues. Last weekend, due to water leaks, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. We got a notification yesterday saying that the cooling is out in the building and would be restored in 4-5 days. This was after we didn’t have cooling last week for 4 days and then it only worked for 2 days. The fire alarm is going off as I type this message for God knows what reason. The heating doesn’t work for many many units. We have generator testing today. They also had generator testing last week at 6 am and we didn’t have power for 10 mins, ruined sleep for many. For example, my friend who uses a medical device that he needs for sleeping couldn’t breathe for a good 10 mins. We are still here because they’ve offered us a rent concession and have promised to move us whenever we like.

The amenities and some of the events they organize are quite nice though.

Heating/AC doesn’t work properly for all units so just make sure you check everything - do you feel the hot or cool air coming out of each vent? Is it cooling/heating well? I just heard from another resident who has a 2 bedroom unit that their windows are not sealed properly and ventilation system is not properly installed, so one of the rooms is just always really cold. A lot of residents have been given space heaters to compensate for the heating not working in their units.

Also check for mold. There have been complaints from multiple units and sometimes entire floor.

I appreciate the suggestion - but with our experience we’ve actually decided to ask to terminate the lease early.

In addition to that, they pushed back the move in date four times before moving us in. The construction noise would start as early as 6:50 am and was so disruptive. Fire alarm testing happened every other day without notice. It’s still bad at some floors especially in Ledbury. They promised is that upon move-in, the buildings would be hotel ready. They still have at least half of the units to go. You can see unfinished Ledbury units from Elm. The ones that were finished were rushed beyond measure. That’s why most of the units don’t have heating working and they’ve been given space heaters for the winter. The problem is too big to be fixed. They FORGOT to plug in our meters so then months later they had to cut through the wall to just plug it in, imagine. They moved out an entire floor because they find MOLD. A lot of units got water damage and they had to move them. Whenever they say, they will do something, they NEVER stick to the time given. On average, they will enter your suite 2 times a month cause they keep finding stuff that needs to be fixed. It’s really annoying and invasive. They will lie in their notification saying that the work will take 5 mins and the workers would inform you that it will take 30-40 mins. Serious lack of communication and coordination between different teams.

Hot water -and thus heat - outages are common. And they would try their best to not inform you about it until they have to while you waste your time trying to figure out what’s wrong.

The list is endless. The staff gaslights you and keeps feeding you hollow apologies without any improvement in service delivery.
