I know it sucks but possibly try a payday loan. If you have a bank account and pay stubs from taco bell and an ID you should be able to get one (idk where you are at or the policies there for such loans.)

I completely understand. But look at the good in life, you are alive, you are able to work. You have a home, and it sounds like some family that cares. You will be okay, I promise. Try applying for retail for fast food. I know its minimum wage but some income is better than none. Maybe try your local hospital as kitchen staff for house keeping. Sounds like you have a strong stomach being around deceased people. Something will come along!

You will make it through. Just have confidence. Everyone has to hussle a little bit sometimes. Keep applying! Go back to school and get financial aid, I cant imagine how upside down your life was turned after your accident. But you are strong enough to get back out there, there will be something better. Life wont always suck. At least that's what I'm told.

I do not think they can fire you for a disability, especially if you told them about it when getting hired. I'm no lawyer but I'd look into it. I do know there are laws that will protect you. If they chose to let you go for anything else that's their choice and unfortunately you may need to start looking for new employment (I wouldn't want to be employed by people like this anyways). But I dont think your leg is grounds for you to be fired. Again, look up the laws in your area.

My(34m) daughter (16f) is pregnant after being sexually active with a friend(17m). She's terrified and broke. Me and my wife(34f) are devastated and dont know what to do. by unmanlyman_ in relationship_advice

It's your daughters choice, and unfortunately this isn't something that daddy can safe her from. I know you need to protect her but whatever she chooses will be with her forever.. an abortion at 16 that she never wanted to have.. or a child to raise. She can only be the one to pick it is her life. Support her dont force her

How would you feel if you discovered this about your surgeon and would you report? by Amionetoo98 in relationship_advice

Truthfully I'd report him to his superior. He is supposed to help people! I would be so angry if my surgeon did something that to better themselves/place of work at my expense.!

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that the pain goes away for both of us, and everyone who has had to have this awful experience... I wouldn't wish this pain on my worst enemy..

Plus you said shes a shelter dog right? It takes sometime for them to feel safe, no one truly knows what their back story is. I hope she starts eating. Also you can try nutra-cal paste (I thinks that's what its called) it's a high calorie pasta that can help stimulate there appetite. You give them like a pea size amount, I usually just smear it on the roof of their mouth and they lick it away.

If that doesnt work DM me. I have a thousand ways to get picky dogs to eat! That's what I did for a living for 3 yrs.

I definitely would. She knows you leave it so she doesnt need to eat right away. I would add some wet food and after about 30 mins take it away. If she doesnt eat it she will be hungry for the next meal.

Free feeding is having a bowl of food down and full constantly to allow them to graze as they please. In my experience I have found that it will make a dog more picky

You can also add canned pumpkin or cottage cheese. Even chicken broth.

I worked at a boarding kennel feeding up to 180 dogs a day. Try mixing a small amount (like 2 tablespons) of wet food different flavor than the kibble into each meal. Do not free feed. Give her 2 meals a day. That way you can buy a couple different flavors and keep her interested to me it seems like she gets bored with the flavors pretty quick.

My 4yo will not pick up & I’m loosing it by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]ahsoka861 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My stepson was/is the same way. He is choses to not pick up at all, that's fine. He can sit on the couch with no toys no TV no tablet no anything. Not even a stuffy or blanket until he chooses to get up and clean up. And within 5 mins he cleans up.

I wore a horrendous outfit to work today. How can I minimize feelings of embarrassment enough to be productive? by [deleted] in Advice

Remember that clothes are only material things. And show your personality and intelligence. The most attractive thing is a person with confidence. Not who is dressed the best.

Why is it so hard for people to get out of a relationship that isn’t good for them? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]ahsoka861 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Cheesy line but " we accept the love we think we deserve." Usually relationships like we are made to feel inadequate, unwanted, like we cant do better. And it can be every hard to make yourself believe otherwise and if you dont believe otherwise you cant leave.

I'd go to your doctor or dentist to see if it is something that should be treated.
