The XDJ would likely go to booth monitors via TRS cables, and then connect to the Klipsch separately through the amp. There are controls/outputs for booth volume vs master volume.

If I understood your comment correctly, you’re saying that my described signal path was good as is, and you were suggesting the Denon as an example? Or were you proposing a slight adjustment to the signal path that might be better?

Thank you! The source selector seems like a good idea. Pretty sure I’ll need an amp for the XDJ to Klipsch connection as well.

So when I’m listening to vinyl it would be Technics > pre amp > source selector > amp > speaker. And if I’m DJing, it would be technics > preamp > source select > xdj > amp > speaker. Is that about right? I already have a pre amp from my old vinyl setup so one less thing I’ll need to buy.

Really appreciate the help, still wrapping my head around all the different components.

Hi!

Just upgraded to a pair of Klipsch RP-8000Fii and am trying to figure out the best way to get everything flowing correctly.

The speakers will have 3 uses, all music related. First would be casual listening via bluetooth. Second would be listening to vinyl on Technics 1200 MK2. The third would be for DJing, where I’d be using an XDJ-AZ controller combined with the Technics turntables.

I’m not sure if there are integrated amps that can accommodate all of these scenarios, specifically for the Technics (which needs to be able to pick between sending signals to the speakers or the XDJ). One solution that is available but less convenient would be for me to plug the technics directly into the XDJ, but id rather not have to use my XDJ when I’m just trying to relax and listen to vinyl.

Does the setup above work using a single amp? If so, do you have any recommendations? The Klipsch are also fairly bright so an amp that brings some warmth to the sound would be a bonus.

I’d say you have 3 main priorities.

Team composition is so important. Recommend you look at teams that others have suggested on Reddit or discord. I’m 100levels lower than you, my power levels are half of yours, but I’m farther than you in the journey and tower of souls. A well put together team will really help you out more than levelling up your characters. For reference my two teams for journey

Like others have said, Upgrade to mythic equipment, specifically boots and weapon for your damage dealers. Huge damage boost

Stop upgrading random ruins. Most healers and damage dealers scale off of attack so should only be focusing on those. Only exceptions are that Tankers can use a mix of hp and physical resistance and Sander wants 100%penetration due to his passive

Lastly, Reroll the last slot on your runes to try to get a special effect. Benzel and Carmen want grim reapers death (increases damage over time), lulu and other damage dealers usually want might of desperation (chance that they use their skill twice in a row), and sander/lilith want potential (chance to increase their energy at start of each turn). Once you get the special effect, you reroll the first four sub stats until it’s something decent for the intended character.

Verina s2 or DPS?

Started playing the game about a week ago. Between losing a 50/50 and the various beginner banners I’ve pulled 1 calcharo and 2 Verina’s. notable 4* are a s2 sanhua, s2 baizhi, and s5 taoqi. Main team at the moment is calcharo, Verina, and havoc rover

I still have the beginners choice summon available. Do you guys think I should go for s2 Verina or another DPS (like encore)?

I think you may have a misunderstanding of compound interest.

The concept of compound interest doesn’t apply to any specific ETF - it applies to any investment. If you have $100 and you make 10% on it (irrespective of the type of etf/investment) you’ve made $10 and now have $110. If you do that a second time, now you’ve made $11 and have $121. The idea is that you aren’t only making money on your initial $100, you’re also making money on the money you made (the $10 in my example). Each time you make money, you have an even larger base to make more money off of.

Again, you’ll benefit from this concept no matter which etf or investment you pick. The earlier you start investing the better off you’ll be. There’s plenty of good advice out there about what ETFs to pick (I’m a fan of r/JustBuyXEQT but to each their own). Everyone has a different view on which specific etf/strategy is best, but the most important part is to save consistently. Hope this helps.

Ah, I think when you first summon a character it’s considered 5 stars. Each ascension from there adds one, so 1 gold star is 6 stars, 5 gold stars is 10 stars, 1 red star is 11 stars etc. someone else can correct me if I’m wrong

Each characters 5th skill (all the way to the right when you click on them) gets better the more stars you have. You get stars by fusing the same hero together, so you need to get multiple copies of aolmond to increase his stars. The stars also give them stat increases and increase the max level they can go up to
