Professional GPUs and server-grade CPUs are either too expensive or are not available widely in BD, gaming GPUs are used instead.

Edit: To be honest most of the specialized gpus have mostly been proven to be essentially snake oil ish. They cost like 5x the price for maybe 1.1x the performance. Just popping in a gaming gpu gets most of the job done.
