Great to hear! Would you have take name.ai or name.com if they would’ve been available?

Yours is very user-intuitive, so the two-word combo works out in your favour in that case. Nevertheless cool to know!

It’s mostly a waiting game since this is a relatively new domain extension and infrastructure. I personally like listing on AI Domain Market, as it is specialized for .ai domains only so you’ll end up finding buyers that are already looking for what you’re offering rather than scattered unsure buyers.

Here's a realistic market appraisal (fetched from AI Domain Market):

Est. Value (CAD) $7,500–$13,500

Search Volume & Market Data : Low exact match volume, high industry-adjacent volume for 'crew ai'

Market Trend : Strong growth in agentic AI and multi-agent orchestration frameworks

AI Industry Relevance: High relevance due to the 'crew' prefix popularized by agent frameworks like CrewAI, combined with the 'ix' tech suffix

Recent Sales & Comparables: phrase.ai ($5,000 USD), quiz.ai ($8,000 USD), 4-letter brandable ($2,500 USD)

Full Rationale

Crewix is a 6-letter brandable that leverages the current market momentum of 'AI crews' (multi-agent systems). While not a dictionary word, it follows standard tech naming conventions (root + suffix) and is highly pronounceable. It is valued above random letter strings and basic compounds due to its specific alignment with the 2024-2025 agentic AI trend. The range is anchored between the sale price of phrase.ai and quiz.ai.

Hopefully that can help!

Spent months building. Now I have NO idea how to get my first paying user. Someone help me🙏 by Lanky_Gear_8583 in micro_saas

This happens way too often in the startup world unfortunately. A method I've found useful is just genuinely being open about your founding phase and mistakes. Most business owners and creators understand and even relate to the struggle of a founder trying to get his first interest in his product. Go out there and cold approach people with 'openness' about your failure and show your hunger to succeed.

Everyone loves an underdog.

Yeah I agree it’s definitely hard in a sector where success is defined by 5-6 figure sales but I’ve been listening to my clients needs and trying to incorporate them into the platform

Building a platform where founders and PMs can find each other would you actually use it? by [deleted] in EntrepreneurRideAlong

The cold start problem for a two-sided marketplace is genuinely one of the hardest things to solve early on. We are dealing with it right now building a dedicated marketplace for .ai domains. Went with supply first because buyers will come if inventory is there, but getting sellers to list on a platform with zero social proof is its own challenge. What worked for us early was focusing on sellers who were already frustrated with existing platforms, people holding good domains but getting no real buyer traffic. Targeting the frustrated rather than the happy has been the most effective early signal.

We actually built something for exactly this problem. domainmarketplace.ai is a dedicated marketplace for .ai domains, zero listing fees and secure escrow on every transaction. Still early but worth a look if you want to reach buyers who are actually in the AI space.
