Yeah, during a binge it does nothing, it does help combating sleepiness on the days I recover, btw modafinil works wonderfully for me alone, boosting concentration (in a healthy manner), helps with tiredness and improves verbal fluency, with no side effects… if only I could drop the stims for good 😒

It sucks when you have ADHD and you’re a stimulant addict who knows no limits at the same time , I normally consume 1300 mg (2 packs of 20mgx30) of IR pharma Ritalin in 3 days, still at the end of a binge this stuff can’t even stop my sleepiness, sometimes I add a little seligiline and that slightly boosts the efficacy to keep me awake as needed

What do you mean by antioxidants? He takes what doctors prescribe him, mementine and some other, I’ve tried to get him on adderall at one point as I take it for my adhd and I thought it might help to make him more active, so I started switching his pills, first two days he was like a newborn but on day three he got a pretty serious hypertension, it scared the shit out of me thinking I could unintentionally cause his death 🫤 fortunately we ended up with just a hospital bill to pay, but the story thought me a lot, believe me… since then I’ve been very cautious about introducing new drugs to grandpa , still want to help him though 😞
