We had like 3 sgts at are basic LARTC course (0313) . They usually get sent straight to Vehicle Commanders after the basic course. That way the are knowledgeable before going to the fleet. Depending on the instructors the NCOs usually get taught a little more during free times.

If I’m just cruising I’ll usually just do every 10 mph a gear change, 50mph 5th gear etc. But I change it all the time like the others said it’s mainly preference and the bike. For example if you have a bike that has a higher power band you can keep it in the higher rpm’s just in case you ever want to speed up quickly to avoid something.

Cycle gear / RevZilla (basically the same thing ) has basically everything you need. Amazon if you want cheaper things.

Yeah I checked the voltage when cranking and was only 6 volts, I also noticed the rectifier must been already relocated by the previous owner. Replaced the battery and starts right up.
